I've seen how much the fandom loves the characters and how they talk about them like they're best friends; so it's really really great to finally know what they're talking about when they say 'lilo'. First things first, I absolutely loved how the author portrays their addictions. it's not glorified in any way whatsoever and shown for what it is, which I really liked. The only complaint I had was the lack of plot; It was extremely character-driven and focused on either their addictions or introducing other characters. Speaking of characters, I love, love, love Lily and Lo:( my heart breaks for them < / 3 and i hope they get the happy ending they deserve. Their entire situation was so terrible that i wasn't even mad at them honestly. just found myself hoping they'd tell somebody. anybody, about their issues. I agree that this book could've been shorter in terms of how repetitive it was, but then i also felt like their recurring, unchanging nature was a more realistic portrayal of their problems and helped me get to know the characters and their thoughts better. I love them, i'm so excited for the calloway sisters books to see more of their relationship.
