Tandem Diabetes Caret:case (Pink)

Fits the T-Slim pump great. Easy to put on and take off for cleaning. The quality is durable. My daughter loves that it comes in pink 💗

Highly recommend if you're looking for a similar case like the tandem t slim x2 originally comes in. Plastic but it'll definitely protect the pump edged and the clip is can be sideways so it's comfortable

I really like the gripper on the metal clip. Very secure and won’t slip off leaving my pump hanging from my skin unlike the original case that just has the metal clip and no gripper attached and fell off at least 2 times a day. Talk about aggravating.Interesting that on this case the packaging said sold in France only 🤔 and the ones available on Tandems site for the USA is the version that falls off with no gripper attached to the metal clip.. why was it sold like that 🤷‍♀️

Love the color. It’s my first pump that isn’t the Medtronic MiniMed and I wanted to have some color back. I can’t wait to get the sticker for the front to tie it all together.Taking off my black case and putting the green case on was a bit jarring at first on the back because it makes the black sections of the pump standout. The is good and bad. Wish tandem has some other pump color option, though on its own black is very sleek. Seeing the black part of the pump is not as aesthetically pleasing but it does help me distinguish between what is the pump and what is the case. Makes it easier to change the cartridge and pull the pump out. Turns out I was pushing on the case not the pump when I was trying to get the black case off.I’ve only had the pump for 5 days so the case it shipped with was the newer updated design with the belt clip that has the grip. The pictures on amazon had me worried that buying it off here I might get the older design. But looking at the most recent review pictures I saw the new clip so I took the chance. I was not disappointed. My new green one is exactly like the black with the same clip. So no need to switch them around.The black I’ll keep in case the green one breaks. I can’t say much on durability. But I imagine if you take good care of your pump and are not trying to constant pop it in and out of the case then there very little room for breaking it.I can say the color on the hard plastic is solid. I was thinking of getting the pink but for some reason the pink little to be more of a transparent plastic from the picture I saw.The clip is moveable if you want to change the position or remove it, but you will have to take the case off the pump to do so.

This case is a no brainer. The old t:clip case was total crap, and I hated it with every fiber of my being. Every month or two I would sit down in my car a little sideways and the case on my belt would twist on the car seat and it would break it clean off the clip. As careful as I was, I usually had to buy a new case every few months because they constantly broke. And they cost like 25 or 30 or something ridiculous. I have probably spend $500 in those damn cases over the last 5 years, NO JOKE. Not to mention it was annoying every time you had to change cartridges, and it just didn't feel like quality. I was used to my old animas pump with the metal clip before I got the tandem and the clip was so much better. The crappy case quality has always been a dark shadow on an otherwise great device.So this new case fixes virtually every problem I had with the old case. It's easier to change pump cartridges, it is lower profile so it doesn't stick out from your body as much when you wear on a belt, and it feels sturdy and protective without getting in the way, and the best part is the METAL CLIP. And the clip is even removable and you can attach it in either direction depending on if you prefer a vertical or horizontal pump orientation. I use mine vertical. I also love the blue color because when then the pump is inserted, it gives it a black look with just a slight hint of blue around the edges. It's kind of a nice transparent color. It's a very classy look, and I can wear the blue case in both a work and sporty environment and not have it be out of place. I was sick of having nothing but black all the time, although I'll probably get a black one of these as a backup anyway.I only have two complaints about this case that keep it from being perfect. One is that I wish there was just a slight bit more room on the clip, because if I have a thick pair of pants or a thick belt, it can be hard to get the clip around it and slid all the way down. I never had that problem with my Animas back in the day, it seemed to fit every belt and pant waist like a glove. The clip needs a little bit more give/room to it toward the top. I hope it might stretch a little bit as I wear it in.The other problem with the case is I feel the button overlay is unnecessary and causes it to be WAY too hard to depress the main button, especially when you're trying to do anything that requires multiple holds and presses, like an audio bolus. The cover on the button is totally unnecessary anyway because the button is already recessed from the case, so unless you somehow get hit with a thin sharp projectile straight at the button, there is no way anything is going to damage it. In the last case they left the button uncovered and I highly doubt they determined it was a safety issue that the button was uncovered after all this time. So there is really no need for the button to be covered. I'm actually thinking about taking an exacto knife and cutting out the button overlay. It makes it so much harder to press. I love the audio bolus feature but now I find myself thinking it's a hassle, because I reach to press and hold the button and you get no feedback that the button is being pressed, and usually I have to apply a crazy amount of force to the button to get it to register a press.So not perfect, but it's still a no-brainer compared to the old POS case that I can't believe they produced for so long. With just a few tiny tweaks in the design it could be a perfect case.

My original clip started to fail so I started my search for a new one. This one was definitely a win. It fits perfect and snug. I've been wearing it for months now and it is still tight and secure. I've worn it to theme parks and for random kid play. This thing is so worth the money and will hold up in the most extreme conditions. I definitely recommend this holder.

If you have any doubts about this don't this is literally perfect! I believe that everyone needs this!
