Good backpacking tent
So far so good! I nabbed this tent on a killer sale! Set up was a little tough by myself until I realized I was doing it wrong! If you follow the clear instructions, it is a lot smoother! It is lightweight! Very practical to add to my hiking pack and used on the trail! So far it’s been on one camp out and it worked well! There’s plenty of space for my sleeping bag and camping gear either in the tent or in the vestibule! Excited for more trips in the future!

Excellent headroom
I ordered the 4 person tent. The peak height is amazing - I am 5'9" and love being able to stand up straight in any part of the tent. I put it up by myself in about 5 minutes flat - there is color coding and it's an intuitive setup. I love the zipper design (you can open the window at the top for a little venting) and the two stand-up vents at either side. I love that it came with the footprint and high quality tent stakes included. It has 3 loops on the ceiling to hang a light (confused why others are saying there are no ceiling loops). I love that it has a nearly full rainfly. A Coleman twin cot, or even 2 cots along 2 sides of the tent, fit easily. I also tried it with a queen size cot, and that is not ideal. The cot fits with about 18 inches to walk on both sides, but if you are tall you will not be able to stand up straight anywhere in the tent. If you plan to use a queen mattress, I'd recommend getting a larger tent or one with a different ceiling design. Now for the less ideal things: The tent has serious chemical offgassing (a strong smell) so buy it and set it up in a covered outdoor location like a porch or carport for it to air out for several weeks before you try to sleep in it (the offgassing did eventually stop and the tent is fine now). I wish all 4 sides were dark grey - the yellow is pretty but it kind of glows in the dark with moonlight. If Coleman made a tent like this with their dark room technology that would be my ideal tent. The front vestibule is a little small, I would have preferred it to be a little bigger. The mesh pockets are triangle shaped at floor in the corners - I'd love some square mesh pockets halfway up the wall or even near the ceiling. I'd also have preferred a full rainfly for heavy rain - not sure why they made a triangle cutout in the fly on one side.

Great 3 Season tent
Good, but not as quick to set up as other Coleman tents. Just means it will withstand the weather better than the other Coleman tents. Great large openings, sturdy.

Fairly lightwight, packable, waterproof, good quality.
•Overall Impression: -Note that there are several size variations for how many people you want to fit in the tent and the tent capacity. -I'm reviewing the one I have the single, one person tent, so it's going to be heavier and larger if you get a tent that holds more people and has a higher person capacity. -For a single, one person, tent that's packable and a pop up style, it's fairly lightweight in the one person size at 4 pounds 12 oz packed weight. It does feel about like 5 pounds when you pick it up. Note that the multi-person tents will be heavier, so check the listing and pics for the weights for those larger tents. -It's excellent quality, as you'd expect from Coleman, and is packable, pop up style and waterproof. • Pros-what I liked and what worked well: -Several size variations available from single person (the one I have) to multiple people capacity. -Good value for the quality, style and size. -Good material that's sturdy and should hold up well. -Waterproof material and taped seams and tub like floor to keep water and moisture out. The single (one person) style is almost five pounds in weight (note the larger multi-person tents will be heavier). -Comes in a carrying bag that's easy to carry or attach to a backpack or pack. -Pop up style. -Aluminum tent posts. Tent posts and tie downs included. -Rated for wind up to 45 mph (when properly set up). -Mesh zip open and close inner window for air flow and a view. -Bright yellow color makes it visible and easy to see. Has a gray top and accent color. -Reflective tape accents to make it visible at night. -Small single person size (the measurements will vary on each tent capacity) for the one person tent at 87" long by 36" wide by 38" tall. It's a tent you won't be able to stand up in easily but can sit up in and crawl in and out of of. -Zip up door closure. -Has no unpleasant scent to it. • Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well: -No issues. • Tips & Thoughts: -The tents are larger and heavier by the person capacity. So check the size measurements and weight for the capacity you are looking for. -The single, one person capacity tent weighs packed about 5 pounds. So keep that weight in mind when packing or planning your travel or backpack load weight.

Great 1 Person Tent
This is a great 1 person tent. For backpacking or biking. I bike to campgrounds and stay over. This tent is smaller and lighter than the one I had been taking. This will be perfect. Enough room without being heavy and huge. Setup: I set this up in my living room. It comes with a footprint which is great. Another nice touch is that there is one corner that is red on the tent, footprint, and rainfly. They all match up so you get the orientation correct. The instructions are attached to the tent storage bag which is nice. The only issue I had was the ridge pole. It's not obvious where it goes and how it goes. Turns out it goes OVER the main tent poles and into two grommets. I had to look at pictures on the Coleman site to figure this out. The rainfly needs to be staked out to work so my pics are a bit weird since I didn't stake it. Tent: I'm 6 foot 2 inches and there was plenty of room for me and some gear. The Star Window / Vent is nice. It's on the end where your feet go, but you can still see out. The tent is really well made and the quality shows. On second thought, It seems like you can sleep with your feet on either end. Just pick an end. Take down: It folded up really nicely. I was able to fold it to the width of the pole bag and then roll it up. It fit back in the back no issue. You then roll down the top of the bag and click the buckles together to keep it closed. With a little practice setup and takedown will be very fast. Overall this is a high quality tent that is durable and light. It is fun and will upgrade my adventures! Notes: - Ridge Pole Goes OVER the main tent poles - Red Corners of Footprint, Tent, and Rainfly all line up. (Great Idea!) - Instructions are attached to the bag but are not perfect. - Under 5lbs - Star View Window / Vent - Free standing but needs to be staked out
