WITZ Keep it Clear Waterproof Sports Case

I took this with me on solo travel to Greece, where I knew I'd be doing a lot of swimming and I didn't want to have to leave my keys, cash, or id on the beach within easy reach of anybody who wanted to steal them.It has a nice caribiner hook, and definitely has held up to multiple trips over several months without losing its waterproofness (I later took it to Thailand after using it in Greece, and Italy).It is very unlikely to be big enough for a phone. However I found this size is ideal for a small wallet that might have id, a credit card, some cash,, and perhaps your key, hotel key, or key fob. It can fit in your pocket once closed although it will be a bit bulky, sort of like a big wallet.In my case, to secure the Witz to my person, I decided to add velcro to my swim shorts pockets, and a little loop on my swim shorts so I could take this Witz device, latch the caribiner onto my swim shorts, and secure it it in my velcro pocket so it wouldn't be likely to fall out even if the Witz opened up somehow.This worked great and I didn't lose anything or see them get wet for my entire trip, even on long swims out in open water in the ocean. The Witz never failed. Definitely recommend this product.I also used it in Thailand to keep my cash and keys dry during rainy weather, so it was useful for things other than swimming.I bought a couple different Witzes and I found this size was the most convenient to use because it was big enough to hold a wallet and keys while still fitting in my pocket.

Sorry to say, this case is not at all waterproof if you take it with you into a pool or the ocean. I always carefully check that the o-ring is supple, has no nicks, that there isn't a hair or a piece of lint creating a gap, and still, it just isn't waterproof. Granted, they didn't quantify the claim of "waterproof" as IP07 (Protected from immersion between 15 centimeters and 1 meter in depth), but the claim that it "floats airtight" in the water establishes that a representation that it's protects from immersion (and not just water sprayed/splashed at it). Do not buy!

I've used this in a couple of lake swims and it kept its interior completely dry. Perfect to hold car keys, credit cards, cash, but too small to fit anything else (no phones or wallets). Although I haven't had any problems so far, I would feel more comfortable if it took some more force to close or open the latch. I suggest securing it with a rubber band for extra peace of mind.

I love this case! I can fit my work IDs’, drivers license, credit cards, small note cards, and cash!! My last case lasted a little over a year. Not bad considering the price and how much I used the case, which is multiple times daily.I can’t speak on the waterproof part.

I haven't tried this in the water, since I just use it to put shark teeth in when I'm hunting at the beach. Works great for that, stays closed, hangs around my neck for easy access, and lets me get a look at the teeth I've collected without dumping them out while on the sand.

Worked great! Jumped off boat in Hawaii and went snorkeling. Not a drop inside the case. It is perfect for everyday use. Holds credit cards, chapstick and lipstick. Incredibly practical.

It’s larger & can handle keys. So far it has stayed water tight, but I had a smaller one for credit cards that didn’t & my social security card had to be replaced. It had been used for over a year daily. Credit cards & plastic ID’s were fine.

It was too large. I wanted a thinner case. Have no idea if water proof. Lock on the side doesn’t stay locked. Have to push lock down ever time I get it out of my purse.

I received 2 - one purple and one blue. The locking tab on the purple seems tight enough, but the one on the blue is very loose. I tested in water, so far it does not leak, but I am afraid it may not last long. Poor quality control!!
