... i need an on-the go card reader and am pretty happy with this one
I hooked this upto my laptop as i need an on-the go card reader and am pretty happy with this one. I was afraid with win 10 that it wouldnt work or have issues but it worked plug and play style on the first try. Its quite small only about 4-5 inches but its worked every time ive tried it. I'm using mine with an ACS system and not had any issues yet. Hoping this holds up its the perfect little mini reader for on the go in my opinion.

no configuration software - look for a different brand
no configuration software is provided. not useful. buy the MSR90 instead.

Just plug it in, and run the software
Worked without problem; all I had to do was plug it in and run the software. Search for the software at PingTurtle and msr-software-download

Missing configuration software
The scanner is plug & play and does not require software to operate. However, if you want to configure the way the data is formattet when transmitted, you do need the configuration file (msr90). It is very difficult to find. The supplier will provide software and a manual but they do not match. The manual is for the configuration program but that is not the software they give you.
