**Q: Do they eventually rust?**
A: My is about two years old - no rust.

**Q: Is this good for elderly hands?**
A: If you don’t have problems with scissors, you should be good with these. I find it harder to cut cardboard with scissors than to use these!

**Q: How to detach the two parts?**
A: Just push the handles apart. One is clipped to the the other. Same goes with putting b g it back together just line up the slot and squeeze it back together

**Q: Can this be used comfortably by a left handed person?**
A: I just tested that out for you by cutting a hunk of cheese with my left hand. I had no problem at all. I love this product!
