Q: Is it normal for the Led lights to stay on but very dim even with vehicle being turned off???

If they stay on after you turn the car off, it means you need a Load Register. They are not supposed to stay on after you turn off the car. There are many youtube videos that show how to install them, its not hard.

I have a 2018 compass and the same thing happened to me...sent then back

Yes they 100 percent do need a register

Connectors don't fit.

Wouldn't plug in, connectors too wide. Says for Jeep Compass 2017 up, mine is 2018 so should be fine.
