Expands well but messy
I purchased this to fill an ottoman/pouf that I had previously had old cloths and towels in for filling (heavy and sagging). This fill worked beautifully! Please put a large towel down before you open the vacuum sealed bag. Move slowly or the pieces will get everywhere as they expand and cling.Cons: messy, with a chemical smell.Pros: quickly expands, light weight, affordable, did the job.

Works as Great
Pros:- it works, after opening the air sealed bag and letting the foam gain some air, it expanded nicely of which I then placed into the bean bag.- when the foam expanded, 1 bag (5lbs) expands into about a standard pillowcase worth of foam, I used about 2.25 bags to fill the blue bean bag chair (see image) along with the existing fill the blue chair already had.- it's comfortable and seems to hold it's shape, I can see the foam collecting air back and regaining its structure.- not sure if this is a "pro", but it does smell exactly like a freshly unsealed memory foam mattress, this smell gives me confidence that it'll likely maintain it's shape for awhile (I hope)- the kids seems to be enjoying the once sad bean bag but now that it's gain some volume the kids are playing with it more again.Cons:- some of the foam pieces has plastic attached to it, which depending on your bean bag it could impact comfort, it doesn't effect mines though.- not necessarily a con, but I thought it was strange that there was no information that came along with the foam, no packaging, no upc code, no brand, no piece of paper that says "don't return this product to your retailer, call this number instead!" I'm all in for cheaper products and less packaging waste but having zero information is definitely sketchy.Other thoughts:- if your bean bag is like mines, the zipper to unopen the bean bag might appear broken, it is not! I used a fork to enter the eye of the zipper and was able to maneuver the zipper with ease.- The bean bag was a gift from my best friend to my kids, but my best friend have since passed away. I didn't want to throw the bean bag chair away since it has sentimental value, so I decided to give it a second life and am not disappointed with how this turned out. I'm sure my best friend is happy with how this turned out too if they were still around to see it as it's brought smiles back to my kids faces.

Smells Terrible, Works Great
When I say this stuff smells terrible, I mean it absolutely reeks to the point I wonder if it might be a little toxic. However, I used it to stuff my beanbag chair back up, and my chair has never been softer. This stuff really works, and after I put it in my beanbag chair I can't smell it anymore, but if you are sensitive to strong smells I would maybe steer clear.

Foam is soft, durable and well worth price.
They came in super compact bags. It took a long time to break up the foam and separate the pieces...all in all very happy with the purchase. Comfy and soft.Update: CS sent me a message in relation to my first review. I did not expect to hear from them as I review products here and there--BUT I was pleasantly surprised to hear from this company. Very nice customer service. Very pleasant to work with them and a stand up company who back up their products. I will definitely purchase again. All in all I'm more happy with my purchase and so is my granddaughter- loving her homemade bean bag chair made with memory foam from this outstanding company. Thank you.

Not As Described, Totally Useless
Avoid this product. There should be a way to leave less than 1-star reviews for products that are this bad. This material is pretty much the exact opposite of what the product description says. It hardly expanded at all after opening, see the photos of the stuff at 12 hours and 24 hours after putting them in boxes to expand as suggested by the seller. The picture with the two slabs in the box is after 12 hours, and the picture with one slab lying flat in the box is after 24 hours. I placed a ruler in the pictures to show just how compressed the product remained after being removed from the packaging. The small amount that did expand is still stuck together and is tacky to your touch. It can be separated by hand into loose individual pieces of foam, but if you squeeze a handful of that stuff, it clumps together and keeps the squished shape, and it does not expand back into separate pieces of foam. That’s shown in the picture of me holding the clump by my fingertips. While everything in the material appears to be foam, much of it is ribbon-thin waste that has no expansion capability at all, as if it was shaved and not cut. This stuff is totally unusable as a bean bag filler, and I don’t know what else it could possibly be used for, it’s just plain trash. I did return this for a full refund, but the seller did require that it be sent back. That wasn’t a problem at all as it fit back into the shipping box it arrived it because it didn’t expand very much at all after 24 hours.

Not bad!
The Welacer Shredded Memory Foam Filling is a decent option for various DIY projects, such as refilling bean bags, pillows, or cushions. The 10-pound bag offers plenty of foam for larger projects, and its premium softness makes it comfortable to use. The multi-color and irregular shapes of the foam add a unique touch, though they won’t be visible once stuffed. However, the absence of added gel particles means it might not provide as much cooling as other options, which could be a downside for people in warmer climates. Additionally, some users might find the foam settles over time, requiring frequent fluffing or adding more material. Overall, it’s a good, cost-effective option for arts and crafts or refreshing furniture, but may require some maintenance for optimal comfort.
