This block is no joke. It is heavy duty

I'm using this to pill downed trees up a hill. One end of cable is attached to the tree I'm pulling, the other end to my truck and this pulley chained to a tree between the both anchor points of the cable. I've been pulling massive parts of trees up hill and this pulley does its job smoothly, quietly and is easy to set up. This is a good product for the money. I've used pulleys from rigging companies that are way more expensive than this and they performed the same as or worse than this pulley. I'm going to buy a couple more.

These are much bigger irl. beefy construction. used these for pulling down dead trees. I tried greasing the fittings but the dang greese zerk is recessed too deep in the pivot. no grease gun will work on it. i did take the snap ring off and wiped grease on the internals manually. other than the grease fitting issue these work f ing great. price was a deal at 20 bucks.

I was picturing something that was maybe 3-4" wide and maybe 6" long, but this thing is heavy duty! I purchased synthetic rope to replace the cable because I expected the cable to not be able to go around the pulley very well but that turned out to be a non issue. (I'll still switch to the synthetic rope though. This comes packaged with foam padding in a nicely sized box. I'll probably keep the box so that it doesn't bounce around and clank against stuff while off-roading. I'm looking forward to using this as part of a hoist to lift large beams for a pavilion I plan in the next few weeks. This should work much better than the hoist I use for deer hunting.

As others have noted, the grease fitting is recesed in a pocket too small for a regular grease gun tip. Other than this the rest of the pulley is well made and works well. It is also a bit lighter than ohter pulleys I have used since it has an aluminum wheel. Durability is probably not as good as an all steel unit, but for an item that wont see much use this is a great value.
