We had the original ones (slightly bigger), and even though this one is definitely smaller and feels less supportive, it is still very much an awesome chair. It has just enough space to comfortably sit/lay in, is extremely easy to fold and carry around (I grab the black plastic on the back that can slide up and down when it folds and unfolds - I pull that upward to fold it, and just carry it like that, with my four fingers balancing the plastic bar. A bit tough to explain. Try it and you'll see what I mean).Would purchase more. Love the comfy feeling these give. I even use them to work on my laptop during the day (when I don't need to type, but rather read and watch the screen). I sit in it for several hours a day, and it never gets old, it's always inviting and comfy.

The chairs were not the right proportion for me - Somewhat confining and not the right size for me. returned.

Seems well made and like the backpacking feature. I am 6’ so was disappointed in the chair height, too low to the ground to easily get out of. Could have better attachment for the armrests. Cupholder needs to be deeper to prevent spilling beer bottle. Chair tips too easily, a feature that my 5’ wife does not like.

This is our 3rd set since 2006. We use them a lot. People always ask about them. They last around 3 - 4 years before they start wearing out but we keep buying them. Out of the 6, only two have fully broken. We get new ones and keep the old ones as spares.

I've gone through a few pair of these over the year. I like that they are low to the ground, and I even dig the back leg into the sand a little. They fold up easily, set up the same. The only negative I have is that I have found that the fabric deteriorates after a few seasons. the arm straps snapped off my last chair just yesterday. I would ensure they are out of the sun when you are not using them.

We ordered these chairs because they were light and low to the ground. My husband was holding the armrest as he pushed himself to stand up. The metal in the armrest snapped off. This was during the very first time we used it. He is 50 pounds under the weight limit for the chair. We did return the chairs and we're given a full refund.

Love this chair. I have bought three of them. My first one traveled through the airport strapped to the outside of my backpack crossing the country many times. Sadly it went missing one year while on a trip. So I bought two more!
