I’ve never experienced grittiness in this shampoo. It’s not supposed to lather hardly at all, so that’s normal. I’d try shaking the bottle up and then see if it’s still gritty. It may be that it just needs to be mixed from sitting on a shelf. It should be smooth and runny with no grit. It shouldn’t be real thick but be thicker than water. I hope this helps.

Smells so good!

Love. The scent. Makes my hair feel soft and shiny after. Long lasting smell. Perfect size. Easy to yse bottle. Not oily. Hair feels healthy after use.

Good for wavy hair

Let me start off by saying that I have dry frizzy wavy hair and I normally wash my hair once or twice a week. This smells great, it's suds up nicely and doesn't leave any residue on your hair after rinsing. It didn't seem to strip my hair of any natural oils and my hair feels soft and I have full body waves without my hair feeling weighed down.

So far so good

I had very damaged and dry hair and this has made it so soft! hair will need to be cleaned with a detox shampoo at least once a week because this alone will make it oily and heavy. I wash daily so that’s not the biggest issue for me and I’m just thankful my hair isn’t breaking off from being so dry. I still shed good amount but my hair feels better so for now I’ll keep usuing it. The scent is strong but my man likes sweet scents so I don’t mind it. Not a perfect shampoo but I probably will add it to my shampoo rotation for that good moisture and continue to use it.

Excellent Daily Moisture

I've tried SO MANY hair care products for curls and naturally dry hair. High end to dollar store, I've yet to find one that actually does what it say it will in 50 years... until now! This was the greatest product for my hair, ever. It didn't leave it still feeling like straw and it didn't leave ANY residue to achieve softness. It didn't become greasy after 24 hours and I probably could have gotten a third day out of my curls before washing again. Time will tell if there are any long term drawbacks, but I fully intend to find out. I may never have to try a new product again, finally!
