Lasts a while
Seems to last all day. They don't stay frozen all day but definitely keeps my lunch and drinks cold enough. I take them out of freezer around 5:15am and get home around 3pm. They keep my lunch and drinks cold enough to cool u down on a hot day. They're nice and thin which makes it easy to place everything.

STAYS COLD.
I’ve been looking for some ice packs that are able to stay cold throughout the day while sitting inside my car that bakes in the sun for hours on end when at work/school.With temperatures outside reaching well above 90°F, my old ice packs would melt within hours, even inside the built-in cooler in my car’s trunk organizer. My car sits and bakes- getting very hot & humid on the inside as the day goes by.The past few days I have been using these- and they’re still frozen. I started with 4 (1 pack) and that kept everything nice and cold throughout the entire day despite the heat.Today I added one more pack into the cooler (8 total or 2 packs) and they’re still frozen as if I just took them out of the freezer. They’ve been sitting in my car for about 16+ hours now and have yet to warm up whatsoever- even with my car continually being hot. At 10 pm, the temperature at my vehicle drops to 75°F/80°F, so you’d think after an entire day of being in constant heat inside of a vehicle, they’d warm up- NOPE.I’m comparing these HeyTrip ice packs to what I was using previously by using them in the same way and inside the same cooler compartment in my trunk organizer, also made by HeyTrip. My other ice packs started to thaw around 5 hours… With these packs still cold after 16+ hours- I’m extremely impressed. When I was testing and only using 4 (one pack), I didn’t think to keep them inside my car after the whole day and brought them inside, so I assume those would have stayed cold if I would have left them. Using 8 (2 packs), I’ve decided to just leave them in my trunk and see how long it takes for them to warm up!Obviously, a cooler is going to help keep them cold- but my point is my other ice packs still melted inside the cooler, in the heat of my car, after 5 hours. These have yet to do that after 16 hours. Monumental. I am very eager to use the included ice pack links in the future (something I've never seen before) to cool specifically sized. Will continue to update as I use overtime!

Decent at cooling
Really good at keeping things cool so long as the cooler is well insulated and not sitting in the baking sun all day.

Awesome Freezer Packs! Take up Less Space!
The media could not be loaded. These are an awesome product! If your reading this, Don't hesistate! Normally I had a bunch of bulky ice packs, that would take up more space than the food or drinks the cooler would hold! These are a game changer! These are great for both a cooler or portable fridge! I lined up my fridge using 2 cooler packs from heytrip, and you have to precool the portable fridge for 15 minutes but this product brought that time down, and kept the items in the cooler frozen for more than a few days without having to plug the portable fridge in! Super slim but pack alot of punch! Great for anything outdoors! Id recommend to anyone!

DIY Ice Packs?? Not just an ice pack, but an adventure!
Not just an ice pack, but a DIY adventure! These ice packs have a little stopper on top, not even threaded, you just push down the plastic top to “seal” it shut. Granted, it’s very (very) hard to push the top down flush in order to “seal” it, so let’s hope it actually seals shut and keeps the water from leaking out once it thaws (and while it’s freezing)!Speaking of water, these ice packs require you to fill them with water yourself, an interesting twist from the standard “arrives completely sealed, with no possibility of leaking” ice pack which is the norm. There is an unknown powder of some sort already inside each ice pack, but water must be added by you, the new owner of these innovative “DIY” style ice packs. You might wonder, as I did, how much water to add. Here’s where the innovation comes in. Your guess is as good as mine! The added mystery of wondering how much water to add to the powder already in each ice pack, without going over the 90% mark, as cautioned via a diagram, adds a layer of excitement to your DIY adventure. The mystery is further compounded as you try to assess whether the water you are adding is anywhere near this mystery 90% mark, because the ice packs are made of a very opaque, dark grey, hard plastic which is impossible to see through to assess the water level and/or the mystery 90% mark. You might try, as I did, to peek through the opening in order to attempt an overhead view of the water level. The opening is less than 1/2” diameter, and the interior is quite dark, mysteriously hiding any visual of the water inside the ice pack. You might try, as I did, to illuminate the interior using the flashlight feature on your iPhone. This helps, as it is possible to catch the most fleeting glimpse imaginable of the water level, but only once the water gets alarmingly close to the top. Is it at the 90% mark? Is it below the 90% mark? Is it above the 90% mark? Who knows?! Again, this adds to the sense of adventure you receive as your complimentary gift when purchasing this set of four ice packs! Thank you, Chinese company!Oh, and speaking of sets of four, this is indeed a set of four ice packs, so you get to DIY your own ice pack adventure not once, but FOUR times! It can be a fun activity to do on the weekend, or an evening after a long day of work. Or simply purchase ice packs that just need to be popped into the freezer.

Decent Ice Packs
After freezing the packs and lining the bottom, sidewalls and top of a bicycle insulated bag, I put two very cold(not frozen) water bottles in the middle, then zipped it shut and parked the bike in full sun on an 80+ degree day. This was done at 11 am. By 5pm the cooler packs were liquid again, yet the two bottles of water were an enjoyable 38 degrees! You could probably get about 4-5 can soft drinks in this particular bag with the ice packs if you stand them up. Granted the bag is not marketed as a cooler bag, it is decently insulated with a sewn in foam. Not bad and about what was expected for a thin ice pack. Hey, they work!!

Low Quality
Lids are non-tight and ice pack cooling durability period too short.

Nothing more than a plastic container you fill with water
Nothing more than a plastic container you fill with water. One is leaking already at the cap.
