Resolves Lower Back Pain from Stretched Ligaments
This belt is specifically designed to HEAL stretched ligaments around the sacroiliac. IT WORKS. While I worry about people purchasing this product for all forms of back pain, it is fantastic for its intended purpose. You may have this injury if you have back pain and difficulty lifting one knee relative to the other. That's how I was diagnosed.Sadly, these ligament injuries are common. My initial injury was probably thirty years ago. I went on to have lower back issues for two decades. I roll my back frequently on chiropractic wheels or a gym foam roller. I finally reached a point where working at a desk in my ergonomic chair became excruciatingly painful, and I found relief in a stand-up desk. I reached the point of having to roll out of bed and onto my knees to stand when my wife made an appointment with Dr. Buddingh, who (unknown to her at the time) had invented this belt. When he diagnosed my condition and suggested that a belt was the solution to HEAL my long-term injury, not just help me feel better, I was skeptical. Nonetheless, I followed Dr. Buddingh's instructions precisely. I believe it was six weeks of wearing the belt during waking hours and another period of wearing it during working hours. For a week or two, I thought I might be getting worse, yet I felt better while wearing the belt. Slowly, I noticed I was becoming more agile. Within a few weeks, I was getting out of bed with NO PAIN. My wife noticed, and I wasn't complaining about the pain. Soon enough, I felt pretty good, and the belt bothered me. Still, I continued with Dr. Buddingh, whom I visited weekly, and I understood I needed my ligament to fully heal by wearing the belt for more time. It did.I'm back to using the belt because the injury will never fully heal and I should have been wearing it at least once a week for maintenance. I'd gotten lazy and never wore the belt once I felt better. After several years, I was heading down the same path as before, but this time, I was prepared, and the belt was a life-saver. My recent purchase was to replace my old belt, which I'd worn thousands of times. These things last, but if you wear it daily it may need to be exchanged in a few years—a small price to pay.I read other reviews that say the belt runs small. The belt, in my opinion, runs large. I was initially fitted as a medium, and I'm a big guy, wearing XL in almost anything. When I misplaced my first belt, I purchased a large. It worked but wore out. I am now back in the Medium, which gives me more tension around my hips, but I will also purchase a large to have on hand.I also read that some people claim it slips off, which makes no sense if appropriately used. The belt wraps around the buttocks and hips—not up around the waist. Once the large front Velcro is fastened, you detach the tensioner straps, also held with Velcro (or some hook-eye fastener), and stretch them into a higher tension position. It's an ingenious design. The attached photo shows the directions. Please read them or scan a handy QR code for a website with more information.I highly recommend this belt for healing the injuries it is designed for. That may be a narrow window, but it is an important one. This is not a temporary fix.

Support pelvis/sciatic symptoms
I have a hip that is going bad and am anticipating it will need replacement in the future-like the other hip. My sister in law was informed of a belt like this as her hip was giving her problems (had replacement surgery a couple years later) and mentioned it to me. I bought a belt (though not this one at the time). So now, being heavier I needed a larger belt. It does not solve all the problems I was having but offers stability to the degenerating hip. The sciatic pain that accompanies this is soothed-not completely but enough to make it tolerable. I also have meds to take. Even with all of this I still have pain but at a tolerable level. It will travel up while sitting but it easy to adjust. There are also additional tabs to adjust the belt tighter if needed. Its support is customizable to the needs of one’s support needs day by day. To me, it was worth every dollar.

Too hot.
This belt is too hot, too thick and too bulky. It won't fit beneath my clothing like my old one. It is extremely uncomfortable. I couldn't tolerate it.

Very helpful! Fits Plus size people.
This belt is very helpful for me. It is well made and comfortable to wear and really helps with my SI (sacroiliac) pain.I can tell the difference when I wear it. It’s a great product!I am a larger person and I was worried about it fitting me, but it fits well.

Moves out of place too easily, needs to be 1.5" more narrow.
I own a pain clinic and prescribe sacral belts on a regular basis for sacral sprains. I tried this brand because it was lower in cost than the Serola Brand belts I have always used and recommend to my clients. Unfortunately, this belt is a good design but not a great one. The belt is too wide which makes it move out of place too easily. Sacral belts work but are a pain to wear because they are prone to move. This belt is comfortable when put on, but it moves out of place too easily. Would be a better belt if it were 1.5" more narrow. The SEROLA sacral belt is still the best, even if it is a bit more money.

Terrible
The belt rides up or down, it just doesn't stay put. The support it provides isn't much so I didn't feel any pain relief. Don't waste your time.
