UPDATE 6 YEARS LATER: My incredible baby in the video has since passed, but these stairs improved his quality of life more than I can express and are still being put to good use every day by my other boy, Jax, a 65lb Pitbull. Jax has used these stairs for the past 6 years, as well, and they have yet to lose shape, get torn/damaged, lose strength, or change in any way. I genuinely could not recommend these more. I’ve gone through a lot of pet stairs over the years and I will always come back to these.—QUICK UPDATE: I have now had these stairs for over a year now and they are still in the exact same condition as when I first purchased them - I truly could not recommend these more. They are perfect. Also, I found another set of these same stairs in a larger size that was able to reach the top of my bed, so I purchased those, as well. These stairs are one of the of the most worthwhile purchases I have ever made.--To start, I just want to say that these stairs are incredible. I have a 16 year old Cockapoo who is my world. I’ve had him since he was 3 months old and always do my best to make sure he’s staying as healthy and comfortable as possible. He’s doing great and is very healthy, but he has arthritis and weakness in his joints that occasionally causes him to limp and doesn’t allow him to jump up on couches/beds like he used to be able to. He’s on an all-natural supplement for this, but obviously it won’t make everything perfect again.Before purchasing these stairs, we always had to pick him up and down on the couch and would always get so scared and cringe whenever he’d jump off the couch without us looking because he could seriously hurt himself doing so.After doing a ton of research on different stairs and some trial and error (don’t ever purchase any plastic sets; they are terrible), I finally decided on this one. I couldn’t be more happy with my decision.These steps not only are the perfect height for my couch, but they’re amazing quality, extremely durable, look really nice, and make it so easy for my little guy to get up and down from the couch.INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR QUALITYTo start off, the outer fabric is removable via zipper and is a very soft (almost blanket-like) polyester fabric. You’re able to clean the outer cover by removing it and washing in your washing machine on cold and drying in your dryer on cold. Any dog owner will know what a saving grace this is. Dog paws will get dirty no matter what you do, so it’s wonderful to be able to clean it safely. When it comes to the inside, you’re only supposed to spot clean it with mild soap and water. The stairs are made of a polyurethane foam, which likely means nothing to most people (as it did to me). These stairs are a very firm foam that holds its shape, but is forgiving to pressure applied to it so as to not “shock” any joints of a dog or cat going up or down it.MY EXPERIENCEI’ve had these stairs for over half a year now and they’re used numerous times every single day by my 18lb Cockapoo and they look exactly as they did the day I got them. Not a single sag, dent, or misshaping in any part of the stairs whatsoever. I’d also like to add that I have a 65lb Pitbull who occasionally helps himself to the stairs that he certainly does not need, and it holds up really well under his weight and does not tear or get deformed by his sharp nails and body weight. At first, Kobi (my Cockapoo) didn’t want to use them and preferred to just sit at our feet, waiting to be picked up, but after a quick 10-15 minutes teaching him how to use them (since he was never used to stairs for the couch), he got it down and has been using them like a pro since. He now never just jumps off the couch and is always using his stairs. This is saving his joints and preventing any injuries from happening. I’m so, so grateful that I ended up deciding on these specific stairs. I had been deciding between almost all possible options that Amazon has to offer and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend these to anyone who needs stairs for their pet. You don’t get better than these. I only wish they made even taller versions of this so I could use it for my bed, as well.CONSThe /only/ thing I could possibly say is even close to a con with these stairs isn’t even really a con, but moreso just a small improvement that could be made to make it even better. I wish the depth of the stairs was just an inch or two larger, so my dog could have more room to have both front and back paws on without accidentally slipping because they’re a little awkwardly close to one another. Again, this isn’t actually a con, but is something I’d improve if I could because it would make it easier for my pup to go up them.VIDEOFeel free to have a look for yourself. I love everything about these stairs and would buy them again. They are soft, yet sturdy. I measured the height of my bed before ordering and got the beige XL. It's the perfect height for my queen sized bed with a 3 inch memory foam topper. My dog walks across the top step onto the bed with no extra jump required. The color of the stairs is neutral and blends well with my bedroom decor. The stairs are light and no fuss, so moving them out of the way to make the bed is easy. For reference, my dog is about 16 lbs. It took minutes to get her to use the stairs. I placed treats on each step, luring her to go up one at a time until she reached the bed. I did the same process for going down the steps. We did this a few times while giving her lots of praise. Within minutes she was using the stairs on her own with confidence, and is now littering these stairs with her toys. I consider this one of my best pet purchases for my little dog.

This little staircase is perfect for my 5-pound pup. I placed it by the door and now he enjoys looking outside and barking. It’s soft, sturdy, and easy on his legs. Definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made. He absolutely loves it!

This has been a huge help for my furbaby getting on and off my bed. I starting noticing her having troubles, and I wanted to be preventive as well. Now she has no trouble what so ever, and flies up and down like a speedster!The cover came half put on, for packinging reasons, and was no problem putting back on fully. I'm sure it would be easy to get off if it needing a wash. It's a soft velvetish material, so I just vacuum it once a week with everything else, and it's stayed clean.Overall I am very impressed and would recommend to a friend or family member. Now I will say my dog and kitties are all under 15 pounds. This is the onky reason it did not get 5 stars. I can see the it not holding up very well, especially for doggies that weighed more than mine. I could be wrong. I am no genius. But if my pug and other furangel was still with us, I'm not sure it would hold up. Just saying.

I do not normally write reviews for products I buy. But I just had to let the public know that this item is not just for DOGS.MY 11 year old CAT was having problems jumping onto the bed as of late. I guess his jumping powers ain't what they use to be. Several times he managed to fall flat on his ass trying to jump on our bed, only to grab a pawful of blanket and slide off, landing butt first. It happened too fast to film, but trust me, it was hysterical to see.Anyways, I ordered up this Zinus 2 step pet ramp. And my "Boots" just loves it. He even loves to lay on the top step. The cover is so nice and soft. The whole thing is made of foam. So it is super lightweight and easy to move from room to room.The one thing I do take exception with is the statement that is listed under the description of this item that reads " NO Assembly required" BULL!That is a crock! My steps came totally separated. And I had a hell of a time trying to figure out how to put it together with just a visual diagram. NO words, just a stupid picture. I was very irritated with that. So, if you order this good luck putting it together. I was grateful I finally figured it out on my own. And the only reason I gave it 5 stars was for my cats sake. Because he does LOVE it. My 15 year old pup loves these. Perfect height and texture/surface for her. A lot of other brands have stairs that aren't deep/wide enough, but these sit right at the couch level and allow her to take her time when getting down. Oh, and obviously, it was cleaner when I first got it heh

Got for chihuahua that was having hard time jumping up to bed. These steps are a huge help for her access. Easy to assemble. Covered in soft fabric, easy to clean. Light and easy to move around if needed.
