Closed Aquatic Ecosystem Small Pod with LED Base

We got this for my mother-in-law and she was in love. The small pod is a perfect size and a unique shape.I don’t think I would get one for myself, just because it doesn’t feel right to keep shrimp in a closed sphere like this, but that’s my personal view and nothing against the product itself.It’s beautiful, and the stand is great for growing algae away from direct sun.

Purchased this amazing ecosystem June 2020 after seeing a TikTok and immediately became intrigued once it arrived. Enjoyed every day of it being here until February 2021 when Texas decided to freeze over for the first time in states history.. anyone that watches the news or has ears/eyes knows how bad Texas weather was for us during February 2021. We lost power in our house for almost a week, hot water as well so unfortunately we couldn't maintain the required temps needed to keep the ecosystem alive. It lasted longer than we personally anticipated considering our wacky weather here. We WILL be purchasing another one, probably the larger one at that. I highly recommend one of these to anyone that loves live decor. It brightens up the room and doesn't require much upkeep nor electricity at all.

The media could not be loaded. LOVE IT! Bought a special Aquarium light for the algae growth. Sphere arrived with 5 living shrimp and the next day I had 7 and a week later 10..Shpere is the attraction in my office..calming and just beautiful.Only negative thing: Tips over easily and the bottom lights aren't working with batteries.

Gave this to someone as a birthday present and they absolutely loved it. All the little shrimps were alive and they’re still doing well! The light up base doesn’t only come with a white light, but it also turns other colors as well if you want it to. This is an amazing gift and i would highly recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. I love it!! I got it fast and it was packed nicely! I got 8 shrimps but sadly 1 died on arrival. These shrimps is so lively compared to my other small ecosystem I recently bought before. But I will do a update in a couple months!

Very disappointed In the product and company!! The shrimp started to die within a few months, the last one finely died about 10 months after delivery. Yet this sort of system should last several years! Obviously the other reviews are right when they say this is nothing more than slowly starving these poor little shrimp to death. The company definitely needs to be looked into by peta. I did contact the company and they treat you like you're an idiot.

Bought this for my boyfriend. He loves it! Shrimp are growing and eating. I was skeptical, but 3 month in and it's still going.
