Looks and feels like my sheffield of 20 years ago. Very well made.

This is a very solid ruggedly built, utility knife. It’s stainless steel and hardwood inlay. The blade holder is rigid yet easy to change the blade. You won’t want to leave this utility knife laying out at the warehouse because someone will lift it.

Love this knife. Lost a few of them but always buy again.

Just be aware that you’re getting a strong but very heavy knife — the body is steel. The opening action is so stiff that you’re not able to flip it open with a thumb like some of the others. And the handle is sharply squared off — not rounded in your hand at all. It will work, but it’s not something you toss in your pocket and don’t notice.

My only complaints and they're minor are that the corners of the wood were a little sharp, nothing a quick sand doesn't fix and that the spring is a little tight. The knife looks great and does what it should. I'm also impressed with Sheffield brand of blades. I've abused this knife pretty heavily from day one and haven't even need to flip the blade yet. I may order replacement blade from them in the future. very high quality and retains the edge. I love this knife.

Great little blade. Bought it to replace one just like it that finally broke after almost 20 years.

This folding utility knife is a replacement for the original Sheffield that is still functional. It is very classic looking with the Stainless steel and wood. It feels very solid and heavy, slightly thicker than the original but it fits my hand perfectly. The blade lock is similar to the original but has been redesigned to prevent it from opening when cutting. It does get scratched up and it is expected since it is a tool that is used every day, multiple times.
