Perfect for what I needed, which was to hide an IEC cable coming out of the bottom of a display. Enter a 90 degree IEC on a short tail.

Extension cables required with cable exit to left as standard straight down version can be seen at the base of the flat screen. Items plugged in without have to take displays off wall.

Turns a straight IEC 'kettle' lead into a right angled lead. Perfect where the is limited space behind an appliance. I have a couple of pieces of audio gear (synthesizers) that are set-up up against a wall, with 'kettle leads' . It's not possible to get them as 'flush' with the wall as I'd liked because the socket 'heads' of the leads require some clearance. There is also the probability that through normal use over time, these synths will push back, crushing the kettle lead socket heads between the synths and the wall, causing damage to the power cable. where it enters the head. I have right-angled instrument audio cables which reduces the needed clearance and risk of damaged leads, but the power cable was the last piece of the puzzle. I did first try buying completely new 'end to end' right angled 3 pin to IEC cable, but the one I found on Amazon, tripped the main circuit of my house every time i plugged it in. Rather than risk another (most available seem to be using the same product shots which suggests they are from the same factory) I went for this short converter/adapter instead. It works a treat. Also has the advantage of being able to quick ft to any existing cable if an when i want to rearrange gear.

Saved space for me than the straight ones coming out of a pc

Couldn't plug my PC's PSU Cable (C13 Cable) to my ATX PSU due to its inverted position and this solved my issue without having to buy an SFX PSU. Without this cable I probably could still get things to work but the PSU Cable would've undergone a serious bend due to stress on the cable. Luckily this entension lead solves that issue. Definitely recommend this product for anyone in a similar position. This cable can support 250V and 10A (2500 Watts of power) which no consumer PC will ever draw, so I'd confidently say that it can support any Power Supply on the market for the very foreseeable future.
