This is pretty cool
Once you figure out how to make a case and trigger for it, it's pretty cool and if you add enough voltage it's pretty gnarly...

It works
The media could not be loaded. I used this in a project to make a taser and it was simple to solder a switch and connect to a 9v battery. I'm not entirely certain how much voltage is coming out but seems pretty great. I'm surprised how well it's held up I still haven't burnt it out. It definitely seems scary and I always flinch but I'm going to say it's the sound not the volts.

worked a couple of times, then die. not use at all. and returning in amazon won't work.

The media could not be loaded. Hasnt broken so far, made a taser.

Used it as a potato cannon igniter
I used the transformer as well as 4 AA batteries and got an arc about an inch long! Works very well as a potato cannon ignition source.
