Q: We have a 2017 ford escape. Will they fit it?

They should because there hasn't been a change to the body style but I don't know for certain. They fit great on my dad's 2016. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Q: I have a 2019 ford escape sel with factory sun/moonroof. are the rails in the same place with that feature or do i need to look for something special?

I have a 2016 with the moonroof. I installed them in the proper place and returned them after the first use as the did not seem secure and pieces of them flew off on the highway. I immediately bought the actual Ford ones and have used them regularly for 3 years now without any issues. That would be my recommendation.
