The media could not be loaded.  This is a fanastic piece of equipment. It's perfect if you don't have alot of room for multiple weights. It takes up so little space. The concept is so simple; turn the handle and change your weight. The quality is excellent. The handle is very comfortable to hold with a great grip. Absolutely recommend it!

Since I'm replacing a deteriorating dumbbell set, my priorities were simplicity and strength, and having just gotten the boxes in, this set seems to check out. I'll come back after some more extended use but here's the first pass:Likes:+ Weights are 1-piece, powder coated castings (I assume iron), INCLUDING THE TAB THAT LOCKS THEM TO THE HANDLE. This is not going to break, crack, wear down, or delaminate+ Good outward ergonomics: the handle is an interrupted contour (no stupid vinyl sleeve in the middle) and flares out to a smooth, flat cone for comfortable tricep presses. The end caps are large, smooth, and sturdy - no problems setting these on the floor or a thigh, no wobbly selector knob.+ Well reinforced; I will probably tear one down but I'm impressed by the amount of steel present. This type of weight has a bar running the whole length so that IF YOU TURN THEM SO THE U-OPENING FACES THE GROUND ANY TIME YOU LIFT, there is no chance of dropping plates, as they do not rely on a plastic dovetail or pins to hold them in place. The cams that lock the plates in place show metal cores through mold positioning holes, which is more than I can say for Bowflex. plastic on the outer surface of the bar is thick and nicely textured (handle is clearly glass reinforced)+ Quick and smooth weight adjustment. Handles turn with an authoritative click (ball detent), but are reassuringly rigid when removed from the cradle+ Cradles are clean and simple, do not appear to need extra weight to stay in place when grabbing max weight. I often work out outside and am grateful not to lug an extra 10lbs of base weight per side every time I do. They also allow for any plates to be removed individually (more on that later)...no specific order (plates are identical), no dovetails or other interlocking to mess withDislikes:- fit and finish is a little rough. There are a couple chips in weight plate coatings (one is pretty roughly cast), and there's a bit of mold flash...it's not a 600 dollar weight set, but really nothing I can't solve with a $4 exacto knife- The handles are hard plastic. I would wish for either rubber for bare hands, or knurled for gloves, which is how I usually lift. If these prove too slick for gloves over time, i may try wrapping them, but the shape is good in the meantime.- The intervals are large unless you're comfortable manually removing plates (take one out of the tray before returning the grip and dialing up the next weight level and you'll get a half interval, albeit unbalanced). Ultimately I prefer this to the more intricate mechanisms and fragile half plates to make the 5/2.5lb fine tuning happen...and it's so fast to change weight with this set, you can easily start high and dial back if it proves a bit much to complete your set- I wish the end caps were a little flatter - Setting weights on end is less stable than it could be, given the shallow dome shape- the tabs in the cradle that engage the rotation locks, allowing you to select weight level, are just molded plastic. I'd be happier to see a steel insert here (pretty much the only thing on the whole set that isn't)...if it proves to be a durability issue, I'll come back and update.Admittedly, I got my money's worth from my last dumbbell set (sure beats a decade of gym membership) and knowing that I WILL use them, I wanted a replacement set I wouldn't worry about; the simplest, fastest, least breakable set I could find without spending a grand. After looking closely at Bowflex, Core fitness, Nuobell, Nordic, Powerblock, etc....this sorta no-name (Sorry EnterFitness) looks like the sweet spot for me:Good weight range and super quick adjustment without plastic sleeves to flake off or flashy transformer aesthetics....just a straightforward set of 'bells.*** in light of other reviews that mention plates dropping, I will take a close look at how possible it is to misalign the cams (which did occasionally happen with my last set) or pick the handles up 'between' weight level detents, which may allow them to rotate in hand....In initial use, this seems pretty hard to do, and you'd have to break something major to release a plate otherwise. Even so, I only ever rely on the cams to pick the weights up out of the cradle, preferring to turn the openings downward so the plates are resting ON the bar once they're out...it's nearly impossible to drop a plate when with this precaution.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a very cool adjustable dumbbell weight. It's slick, and works perfectly just like it should. I've seen many of these things where the plates stick and don't fall out, or the plates don't secure and they fall out when they are not supposed to.One minor complaint: I wish the weights were in 5 lb adjustments instead of 10 because the sweet spots for me personally are at 15, 20, and 25lbs, but I'll just get stronger. This will work fine in the long run.The quality of this set is very impressive. The black plastic has a stealth matte look and feel to it. The plastic feels durable, and doesn't look or feel cheap. The twist-locking mechanism for the plates has a sort of "click" when you've reached the right spot, and in multiple sessions of using the weight, I haven't had a single plate stick or fall out when it wasn't supposed to.I am tickled with this kit. Between this, and a single heavy kettlebell, I am totally set in my home gym. Very cool.

The media could not be loaded.  Overall was happy with the purchase. Durable and easy to adjust the weights.One thing to note is that the adjustments are in 11 pound increments. I personally don't mind, but just in case you did these aren't the standard size increments you'd see in a gym.

So I was actually really hesitant to buy adjustable dumbbells due to the safety concerns, but after receiving one I have to say the adjustability is so convenient, and I have no concerns about the weights not locking into place. I bought one at first to test it out, and I really rattled it around like a shake-weight with all the different settings to try to see if I could make it budge, and they held great. I have no concerns using these for chest press above my head at all and bought a second one now that I feel comfortable with how the first one operated and have worked out with it about 4 separate times.

The dumbbells work exactly as described. The weight literally changes with an easy dial. The case is compact and doesn’t take up much floor space. Versatile for my beginner level and husband’s more advanced one. We’re both very happy with the product!

The media could not be loaded.  Love my new adjustable dumbbell. I’ve been looking for one for over a year to workout at home. This one is perfect for my workout needs and so much easier to adjust than some other ones I’ve looked at and at a much better price.

The media could not be loaded.  I will definitely purchase the second dumbbell in the future. This adjustable dumbbell has been great for me to do those quick sets especially drop sets to be done with ease. The weight range is perfect for me as not a lot of adjustable dumbbells are able to go up to 50+ lbs. The weight changes just need to twist to get the correct weight in a matter of seconds. I have to say the build quality has been really decent as it is mostly plastic casing around the weight plates. The plastic anti-slip handle provides good grips for me, but I do wear workout gloves when I am doing my exercise as well. So far I have not encountered any issue on the weight changing mechanism of this dumbbell.

Pros:1. It has AntiSlip handle which is very important and useful.2. 55lb weights come with 8 iron weight plates and it has a great quality.3. It has visual weight dial and it's very useful.4. It comes with the plastic plate in the bottom of the dumbbell to protect your floor.Cons:I have been using this dumbbells for more then a month and I don't have single complain about it. Absolutely love the design and I don't see any cons.Shipping and packing:Shipping was fast and packing was great too. As this dumbbell is 55lb in weight it definitely packed and delivered perfectly.Conclusion:Overall I would recommend this dumbbells to anyone who is looking to add into their home gym. They are great quality with great design.

I got this because lockdowns are starting to make an impact on my training for school and work. It was a great price for one adjustable dumbbell as well.It arrived well packaged. And heavy... I almost feel bad for the delivery personnel.I love that I can choose what weight I want to have for whatever time or exercise. It takes way less room than buying a whole set of simple dumbells. I am able to do more strength exercises at home and this is easy to bring with me to other homes I work out.I highly recommend this product. I am finicky on where I spend my money, and I am over the moon happy to have spent a few hundred dollars on my strength and health. These are built to last!

I was in need of some dumbbells for my home workout and these were the perfect fit. Ever since COVID started I’ve been getting more and more out of shape, but now with these dumbbells I can get a nice workout even at home. So far, they have been working great and are extremely sturdy, the weight is easily changeable which saves you the need of buying separate dumbbells for each weight needed, and saving you a lot of space at the same time. If I had to nitpick then I’d say that the weight being in increments of 11 is a bit off-putting considering that I’m used to standard weights being in roughly increments of 5, but overall it’s not that big of an issue and barely has any effect on me personally. Definitely a very convenient dumbbell and I will be looking to purchase another one to complete the set.
