Lee's jeans have come back to great quality again
Ordered as comparison to Wrangler and Sam's Club jeans. These jeans fit very well, denim is of average density, but well-made vs Sam's. Has significan color run in black- washed 3 times, used color-catcher strips on 4th wash. Wore Lee's jeans for 20 or so years, crusing timber, deckhand on tugs, etc, duriing College breaks, but quality became very poor in 80's. Thinner denim used, poor seam guality. Decided give a try again now. Very pleasantly surprised- fits well, seams strong again, denim much higher quality than when stopped wearing 30- plus years ago.Color run as expected for black jeans - just be smart, don.t wash with light-colored clothes for a year or so. People such as me, who do not like tight-fitting clothes, and order "relaxed fit" for comfort and room, can easily use straight or regular fit jeans (if you order actual waist size). I think I have changed my preferred brand of every-day jeans. Rated five stars for fit and quality.

Great jeans if you want really loose legs.
The waste & length on these jeans is exactly like the 38X29 jeans I've been getting for years. ( Wrangler & Lee). I 've been getting "Regular fit, Straight legs" & they're fine. I got these "Relaxed fit" just to try out. Well... for ME, they're much looser in the legs than I expected. I won't be getting any more Relaxed fit jeans. I will say, they are very well made, should last as long as any other jeans, Belt loops are wide enough for a western belt.I believe these are "genuine", not knock-offs. One GOOD thing about these is that I can easily pull the legs up above my knees so I can get a cortisone shot or knee exam. at the Drs. without dropping my pants. (Can't do that with regular fit) I wasn't sure what "Tarmac" was going to look like. They are colored exactly like the picture. The legs are a little bigger around than the picture.

Nice Quality, Sizing is a bit “Generous”
“Back in the day” I wore Lee jeans, partly because I wanted to be different from the Levi’s crowd, and partly because (believe it or not!) I preferred the placement of the belt loops over other jeans. Yes, I’m a bit strange. For whatever reason I began wearing other brands - partly I suspect because Lee became nearly unavailable. Over the last several years I’ve worn Wrangler. They are easily available at Target, are priced well and various fittings are normally in stock. I took to wearing relaxed fit. When I decided to have at least one pair of black jeans (my lame attempt to be fashionable) I looked around since black wasn’t readily available from Wrangler at Target, and the quality wasn’t quite what I was looking for.I decided to try Lee based on reviews here, and I ordered the relaxed fit. Relaxed? I’d same Tent Size is more accurate! I returned them for regular fit, which are much better. When I lose the 4-7 kgs I’m working on, a slimmer fit will probably work better. The major thing I like about these jeans is the quality. The denim is heavy enough to have a substantial feel/hand. And the black brand patch on the back is quite nice, lending a sophisticated look.I’ve only worn these once and washed them once. I washed them separately, of course, on gentle and dried on low. They look good after the wash, so it looks like maybe the colour will hold.

Great fit, but belt loops may break if you abuse them.
Love these jeans. The relaxed fit style give you just a tiny bit of extra room around the thighs. Lee jeans fit perfectly around the waist, and ride slightly lower than comparable Levi 550 jeans (which I think ride much too high). My only complaint about Lee jeans is that the belt loops tend to break loose sooner than they should, usually after a year or so of weekly wear. I tend to hook my finer through the loops in the rear kidney area to "hike them up" after sitting, etc. Eventually one or both loops will break loose. I've never had that issue with Levi jeans. But the fit of Lee jeans makes up for this slight inconvenience. And really, if they last a year before the loops break, it's probably time for a new pair anyway.

Not the same black Relaxed Fit Lee Jeans as years past
This is not the relaxed fit black 'jeans' of the past Lee product line [say, 8 years back]. This does not 'sit at the waist' - and are nearly 2" sorter from top edge of the waist band to the lowest point in the crotch seam [below the zipper] vs. the ones I'm wearing as I type this. I was certainly not relaxed when I tried them on. Returned for credit [thank you Amazon for your system and your new drop boxes!]

Good product, but display colors can be deceptive!
I can't necessarily give these pants a bad rating. They fit well, exactly as I had hoped (I already owned a pair of Lee's of the same size I ordered so I was confident they would) and they look good. My only "complaint" (even though it's not necessarily anyone's fault) is that the color which arrived is considerably darker than they looked on screen. I ordered the color called "Tarmac" which, on Amazon, looked to be more of a khaki color but the pants which arrived are more of a light to medium brown. Perhaps that's what Tarmac is...it's just darker than I had expected. I still like them, but they won't go with as many of my shirts as I was hoping.

I like these Jeans, just wish all the colors were cut/fit the same
I have a hard time finding jeans because I have a smaller waist and a large set of adductor group muscles (talking about muscle group, nothing dirty). I found these a few years ago, but they keep changing the cut between colors, so I have to order multiple colors to get the fit I want. Listing fits below, I really wish they all fit the same, I hate the Larsen's, they fit so wierd... but they fit.2055554 - Larsen - Hate the Fit2055556 - Inferno - Ok Fit2055549 - Worn Light - Ok Fit2055558 - Python - Perfect, love these jeansOverall, would buy again, and will buy again because I love how some of the colors fit. So in closing, if you get them, get multiple colors so you can send the ones back that you don't like how they fit.

Not expected Lee quality
The quality is not "Lee" worthy. I received the Lee Jean on August 9th. After a few laundry cycle I noticed that there was a hole near the back left pocket about the size of a nickel where there are only vertical threads. The horizontal threads are gone. Then after a couple more times through the wash it is now December 15th and one of the belt loops has broken away and is flapping in the breeze. Not getting any more iconic Lee Jeans.
