The L plates that connects all the bars together uses hex screws and the hex tool is included but I found it a little frustrating to screw in the hex screws. Not only that I stripped the included hex tool tightening the screws which is very easy to do since you are trying to make the case as sturdy as possible. Luckily the kit includes two hex tools so I was a lot more careful with the second one. Overall I don't think it's the most study case on the market mainly because of the choice to use the hex screws but it more than gets the job done. I honestly would stack these though unless you wanted to reinforce it somehow. Ease of Build: B I'm used to building IKEA furniture and this is very similar to building an Ikea dresser. At first you turn the directions over and over and think "what the hell is this?" After you get through the initial frustration it's smooth sailing. I didn't really run into any problems except for those stupid hex screws, I hate those things. (Please note that the fans are not included) Customer Service: A+ When I first received the CryptoCase Sentinel in the mail my the bottom acrylic motherboard plate was damaged and unusable. I was going to just return it and order a different case but I decided to contact CryptoCase and wait a day before submitting the return. CryptoCase contacted me within a couple hours, sent me a new motherboard plate and a 10% discount. The new board arrived in a couple days and they were just really nice to work with. Review: Not a well executed kit (with an update: terrific response from the company) - The instructions for this mining case are poorly done. None of the bars, which come in varying lengths, are labeled and the lengths are not indicated in the assembly instructions. You are left guessing which bars to use as several are similar in size and if you even have the correct number of bars. From the picture provided on the desertcart site, I would guess that I did not receive sufficient long bars to build this rig. The kit comes with little bags of screws with stickers on them to indicate which screw to use in an assembly process, the problem is that several bags had lost their stickers and several bags had two different numbered stickers on them. Several of the phillips style screws were defective with metal filling in the top of the screw. I was hoping for a video assembling this and cannot find one online. Not really a confidence inspiring piece of kit when you are thinking about putting thousands of dollars in graphics cards on it. From the picture it looks like there should be at least 4 of the longest aluminum bars for all four corners , my kit came with three! I will be asking desertcart for a refund. Update: The manufacturer wrote and provided excellent support and a credit for their missing pieces and instruction manual being so in need of revision. Once you get this assembled, it is a pretty solid mining rig. I am blown away by the quick customer service offered by the company. They are taking my suggestions, to revise the manual and to shoot an assembly video. Bad Build. *by L***W on February 24, 2018* Building this case was a nightmare, but it at least is holding together so far. The instructions tell you not to tighten everything until the end, but if you don't, the damn thing will fall apart on you. This might lead one to believe they can put it together and loosen when you inevitably find out that you need to adjust some parts. The problem is, the black hex screws will most certainly strip on you because they are garbage. Not only are they very difficult to tighten properly, but they strip easy. Also, the instructions tell you to remove the adhesive paper from the acrylic plate and that the un-printed side goes up. However, in my case, the adhesive paper only comes off one side of the acrylic, which leaves a printed side to face up instead. If you don't face that side up, the standoff screw holes will not match your motherboard or power supply. I found this out the hard way by putting the clear un-printed side up and stripped more hex screws in the process. Another problem with the build is the way it makes you mount the power supply. First, the power connectors for the various parts are forced to face directly to the motherboard instead of behind, which makes it very difficult to find space. Next, they make you face the power supply fan upwards. Since the instructions tell you to install the power supply before the GPUs, this means if you aren't careful you can drop screws into your power supply. Next build, I think I'm better off using milk crates.
