Can I leave the bottom of this off so it is just a frame?

Not sure as I am yet to put mine together hahaha waiting for the weather to warm up. I would think possibly not as it won't be stable as the connecting bits go into the base as part of the construction.

Is the flower bed with drainage ?

Yes it has drainage but you have to remove a plastic cap to allow excess water out.

Do these need liners?

No you don't need a liner as it is made of a type of plastic so unlike wooden ones no tanins or anything can seep into the compost and of course it won't split or rot. I guess you could put a liner in if you wanted but it's not necessary :)

These are easy to build compared to the triple size version. If you need a outside pot for a small tree or plants. Try these out.

Large planter

Looks lovely.Matches my Ratton garden furnuture.Is large and deep enough for planting vegetables, Flowers, shrubs.Holds 120l compost.Has water build in water channel in base for overflow.On a down side, was tricky to put together , but patience is the key.

Loads and loads of plastic connectors.

I've had two sets x 4 units for a few weeks and just cannot face trying to put these units together. I have arthritis so have asked my friend to help me put some together on Friday. Wish me luck!!!
