Used to remove some rust on metal patio furniture. Did a great job without removing too much metal. Right grit for the job.

I have been a metal fabricator for over 30 years. These discs are very good and last for a decent amount of use. I pay this much for just 2 discs locally!! I will be purchasing more.

Shipped fast and does the job. I use them for stripping paint and body filler.

I use these for making my hiking sticks. I've tried several different brands and grits of flapper wheel and these are by far the best for your money. I've tried ones that lasted for three sticks and started burning the wood. I've bought some that were just trash and got thrown out immediately. And I bought ones that work good but cost five times as much. I've probably done 20 sticks with one wheel with no scorching or burning of the wood. These are the only discs I will buy from here on out. Excellent quality and value

Excellent alternative to acid for small area/part) mill scale removal.They work quickly, and have a reasonable lifespan considering the cost. Great value.

Side by side comparison with a “decent quality” box store disc and these discs. As you can see, these discs are very thin and have a fraction of the number of flaps on them. Granted, 16 of these cost what 2 of the other ones do. So, dollar for dollar…it’s not a bad value. I have not used them yet, but I suspect they will wear out quite quickly compared to the higher end ones. I am replacing the transom on my boat this fall and will need A LOT of these, that’s why I went with this set. Also, it’s nice that they have 4 of each grit (40,60,80, and 120)….that’s will definitely come in handy.Once I actually try them out, I will come back and update this review if they beat my expectations.

I purchased an Angle Grinder several years ago and I had never used it yet, but I needed to remove rust from a steel table my wife's dad made, so I bought some of these flapper grinding discs to give it a try. Wow, I was amazed at how well they do, and they're really durable. They do a great job of removing rust and paint from flat surfaces on metal. I highly recommend this product.

Parfait

I had to strip paint that was peeling and used these. You do need to be careful when using on wood because they are aggressive enough to gouge the wood. However, with that said, they did a great job of taking off the paint.
