Hours of Entertainment
Not to buyers...many reviews mention it not working when on the cat because the laser ended up being under the cat (which we found also when the pointer is pointed down which seemed logical to us). But if you put it w/ the pointer pointing up, it's great! Just figured it out (2 months later). Turn it around!

Loved it but…
I LOVED this thing! My CAT loved this thing! It lasted about 2-3 months (with a daily/weekly use) before it died. Downside is that when I went to charge it, it did not charge AT all. I took it apart to see if there was a battery that probably needed to be replaced and there wasn’t, but then I couldn’t put it back together, so I just tossed it. It was only a couple of bucks, but definitely wished it lasted a little longer. The size is a BIT wonky for a kitten, but it still worked and kept them entertained.

Good manual laser toy but not so good as collar laser toy
Agree with other reviews, the toy is good if you use it manually to play with the cat. And it's pretty as a collar decoration. But as a collar toy:1. The adjustable angle range is weird. The laser beam points toward the chin of the cat, thus the light can be blocked by the fur and the cat may not be able to see it. And it can only be adjusted even closer toward the chin rather than further away from the chin. So the adjustable feature doesn't make sense to me.2. The laser pointer cannot stay steady right under the chin of cat. When the cat plays with the laser point, the collar is rotating around her neck and the pointer will tilt to the side. As a result, the laser point will not be in front of her view and she won't realize the laser. That happens every time she plays with it for a few minutes and I need to adjust the collar for her. It may be improved if I further tighten the collar, but I don't want her to feel uncomfortable or suffocated.Attached are two pics to show how the pointer tilt and she doesn't realize the laser even it's on.3. Time interval. 15mins play 90 mins sleep is designed to be a safety feature when parents are away and the cats can play on their own. But with the two problems above, in the 15 mins, the cat may just notice the beam for about 5 mins. And she does not like the collar on her neck all the time. So it would be great if there is an option for the laser can be always on, or at least an hour, that I can put the collar on and she plays with it for an hour, and then take off the collar.

Yes, it is going to be as nuts as you think it will be
I have 2 young cats. They are almost 2 years old now. They both have a TON of extra energy. Since they love laser pointers, I figured this would be fun to watch. Understatement! I charged it first, then placed it around my cat's collar. It goes to the tightest setting for him, but again, he is 2. Once you turn it on, he is gone so fast I don't really see him move. He races down the hallway and around the house trying to get the laser that is always just out of reach. I did not expect the other cat to join in though! She comes out of nowhere and hunts it too. Then they start to try to outrun the other. This will last well over an hour. That is one hour of my cats no longer jumping on my keyboard while I am typing, or trying to knock over my coffee while I am drinking it. Bonus, when they are done they nap for hours! I plug it back in to charge so it is ready for the next use.Hilarious watching them run all over the house. When it starts to tip to the side, he will do circles until I stop him, or he falls over. They know this collar now, so when I pick it up they start looking for the laser and meowing at me. Eyes dilated and tails twitching. Absolutely fantastic for caretakers of younger cats.

Stops recharging
This is a great product to use. It has two light settings, and a 15 minute timer you cannot bypass for your animal's mental health which I really love. Also the charge lasts forever. The problem is that it stops charging after the second or third time. I bought a second one when the first one refused to charge and now that one won't charge either. Its frustrating. The point of rechargeable was so I didn't have to keep spending money on batteries or new laser pointers. I will not be buying a third one.

Endless chasing
My cats LOVED IT!!!! I got one for each cat. Definitely tired them out. I put the pointer looking up instead of down just like someone commented. This works wonders! It does turn off after a few minutes. And do suggest giving your cats a break. Mine did need it cuz they ended up panting.

High Quality product but...
It works in the beginning before my cat gets tired of chasing the laser and lies down. He eventually ignores it while walking around. I waited a few weeks and tried it again, once more he chased it. It really depends how smart your cat is. Bengal cat gets tired of chasing it so I don't always use this collar. You can slightly adjust it up and down. Do not use any other charger besides the one included in the box as they might not work. Only the paired charging cable actually charged the collar.

Its decent.
Have you ever seen a cat chase after a laser pointer? It's like they turn into a whole different creature, leaping and darting after the elusive dot. But have you ever wondered what goes through their minds when they're in laser chase mode?We like to imagine that to a cat, a laser pointer is like a magical wand that summons prey from another dimension. When a human wields the wand, the cat is summoned to chase the prey and catch it with their mighty claws. Of course, the prey always manages to slip away at the last second, leaving the cat to wonder if they'll ever catch that elusive dot.In fact, we imagine that cats might have developed their own theories about laser pointers. Some might believe that the dot is a cosmic energy source that they need to capture in order to unlock their true potential. Others might think that the dot is an alien spacecraft that they need to defend the earth from. But the truth is, cats probably don't overthink laser pointers as much as we do. To them, it's just a fun game that gets their blood pumping and their instincts working. And let's face it, watching a cat chase a laser pointer is pretty entertaining for us humans too. We can't help but laugh at their wild leaps and bounds, and it's hard not to be impressed by their lightning-fast reflexes. So the next time you're feeling down, just remember that you have a secret weapon at your disposal: a laser pointer and a cat. With those two in hand, you're guaranteed to have a good time and forget about your troubles for a while. Just be sure to watch where you're pointing that thing, or you might accidentally summon an intergalactic feline war.

Could work better
If your cat has a a fluffy face. The laser doesn’t work very well. You have to loosen the collar then the collar ends up being too loose that it falls off of them. But I did buy three and my one cat chases it like crazy the one because he has me loose on him. One It turns and goes sideways and the other one walks around and follows it. I wish the laser had more of a range motion so that I could angle it better so that it wasn’t pointing in the awkward angle that it is. But if you do loosen the collar enough the laser angle drops down enough that you can get it to work better and there chin/neck hair doesn’t get in the way .

Meh
Too loose so it spins around my cats neck, also is a bad angle, the laser points more under his chin so he sees it half the time then just gives up. Not as awsome as I was expecting, now i just use it as a typical lazer pointer

Buy if ur cats love lazer lights lol
The only trick to get this to work great is you have to put it on looser so it doesn't get blocked by kitty chins lol. Otherwise i'm always dying watching them chase this thing around lol. Good buy! Love that it's rechargeable!
