The size is great! The thickness is even better! I was not expecting this mat to be this good! I bought this for my son when he was starting to roll around and learning how to crawl. There is two sides to this mat, a soft smooth side, and a grip side to stay stationed to the floor. I used the smooth side for the floor and the grip side to show. My son had a field day with it as the grip provided some texture. As he got older, he started taking them apart and putting them together. The quality of this has not gone down and stays in great condition, even with a toddler, dog, and adults running around on it!

I like the tiles themselves! They are thick and easy to wipe down. I bought 2 packs but a couple months apart. The ones on the right I bought a couple months ago and loved and worked great. Increased our playpen size so bought another pack to cover the rest of the space and the color is completely different (the left side). You can see even the tiles in the new pack are different shades and one is even 2 different shades on one tile. I don’t love that and wish the coloring was consistent. But they serve there purpose and covered in toys anyways, so I will keep!

This was perfect for our play-pen, the fit was great. It's easy to clean and seems durable.

They look very nice, thinner than I thought but they’re good quality, however, I’m now reluctant to having my kids around them now because they smell like burnt chemicals straight out of the wrapper. As I was installing them, I literally felt sick to my stomach because of the strong chemical smell. Going to wait a day or two and try to clean them and see if the smell dissipates.EDIT: It's now been a few days and the smell has mostly gone away but it still lingers a bit.

My husband is in memory care for Alzheimers and has fallen several times. My daughter recommended that I get these children’s floor mats. Such a great idea, and so easy to put down. Highly recommend.

Great quality mat, I will order one more to create a larger playing surface.If you are looking for a soft surface for your baby to play on, you found it definitely. It is made from a very compact and sturdy sponge-like material. It is durable and sturdy enough, doesn't break down into pieces, and the color is great, like in the picture. I bought the gray-brown-beige one, the neutral colors which work out great with the colors in my living room, I didn't want to look at the "multicolor mess" or the boring black and white one all the time, so these colors were a perfect choice.
