I purchased this Five Star loose leaf paper for school, and it has been fantastic. The sheets are thick, smooth, and durable, so they hold up well to heavy writing without tearing. I love that the edges are reinforced, which keeps them from ripping when inserted into binders. The integration with the Five Star Study App is a nice bonus—scanning notes is quick and easy, and the app helps keep everything organized digitally. One of the few notebook papers that can hold up to fountain pen ink without feathering or bleed-through. These are larger than cheaper Superstore notebook papers. The plastic reinforced side with holes are also more durable.

This paper is so smooth. Easy to write on, thick and strong. The 3 holes are laminated so they are protected from tearing. Superb quality paper. Definitely worth it. It seems weird because it’s just loose leaf paper, but trust me. If your notes are important this is the one to get.

I'm making a journal using loose leaf paper in a three ring binder. I needed paper that was strong and that wouldn't easily rip out. The plastic strips that run down the left side of each side of a sheet prevent this from happening. The triangular holes are larger and allow the paper to move more freely. It's a nice design. The paper is only medium weight but it doesn't bleed through when I use a gel pen. That allows me to write on both sides of a sheet. It appears that this paper will work quite well for my needs.

I have been in college for three years and since the beginning I have been using a five star flex notebook binder. I love it because I can move around pages and add more pages with ease, but a huge drawback was that at the middle of every semester the paper at the front would literally be falling out of it. I would constantly be tearing out pages accidentally and I had no idea how to stop it. Then I found this paper. When I tell you I WISH I would have found this three years ago I mean it! Not only is the paper really high quality and great to write on, but it will not budge from my binder no matter what I do. If I hold one page of the paper and let the rest of the weight of my binder hang down it still does not come out. This is literally the best paper ever and I’m so glad I found it. Worth every single penny.

Incredibly after so long, some absolute genius (or geniuses) has finally resolved the loose-leaf paper fiasco. Not only have they retained the "old school" size of 11 inches by 8.5 inches, but they've also added reinforcement tape along with a new triangular design that resists tearing (as if that were possible now) to the holes so we no longer have to worry about missing pages. Add to that the 20 lb. paper that resists ink bleeding, and you have the PERFECT (yes, I said, "perfect") loose leaf paper. I write and use this paper EVERY SINGLE DAY of my life, journals, etc. and appreciate the genius involved in making this product. Unlike some very few experiences with pages being blank on the back side being reported in the reviews, I have not EVER had this problem. According to the review numbers, out of 143 reviews, only 4% had this problem, which turns out to 5.72 persons, so perhaps this problem has been resolved. I certainly hope so as this paper has contributed to my world being a much better place because of it. Whoever is responsible, thank you, to the nth degree!

I loved using these folder papers especially becasue they had the paper holes reinforced with plastic so they don't tear and fall out my folder like the regular ones. I also like that they were thick because my gel pens wouldn't bleed through the paper so I could also write on the back. They were so good I started using them for special occasions because I felt wasteful using them to just take notes

To be honest, I used this paper to fold paper airplanes folded sideways. The tough, yet thin, plastic reinforced strip on the side of the paper to reinforce the holes made a good leading edge of my paper airplanes. Most loose leaf paper is much too thin, pretty much garbage paper and do not make very good paper airplanes. The heavier 20lb paper (while still on the light side and not as great as 24lb paper) is far stronger; I needed that nostalgic lined-paper that I used to fold my paper planes as a kid, and I found one worthy of flying against the trade winds we have here in Hawaii. I am glad Five Star created such quality paper in the loose leaf category.

Su costo inicial es algo alto pero si logran encontrarlas en oferta recomiendo mucho comprarlas, yo compré el paquete de 400 renglón angosto en menos de 300 pesos mexicanos. La calidad de la hoja es buena, tiene buen grosor, nada exagerado pero si para no se traspase el texto de un lado a otro. El tamaño del renglón angosto está bueno y el espacio de la hoja en sí tiene la superficie completa de una hoja de cuaderno (incluyendo el espacio de los aros) y el espacio de los aros para esta hoja entonces si se escribe más en ella que en un cuaderno normal. Las utilizo para mi carpeta/cuaderno en la universidad y las encuentro muy necesarias para poder moverlo ya que el plástico que tiene donde se agarra ayuda a mantenerla firme y las hojas no se rompan mientras cambio de página. El paquete de 400 me duró dos semestres y un tercio del otro, dependerá del uso que le des y tu tamaño de letra pero supongo que a la persona promedio le deben durar más de un semestre.
