This wedge pillow is fantastic for keeping those pesky acid reflux demons at bay. Since using it, I've been able to sleep without feeling like a fire-breathing dragon, which is always a plus for my fragile ego.But here comes the hiccup in my happily-ever-after. You see, my wife seems to forget that I'm still alive when I'm laying upright high above her. The cuddle potential has taken a nosedive! It's like she's forgotten I'm still alive. Honestly, though, it's a minor quibble compared to the relief this wedge pillow brings.In conclusion, if you're looking for a remedy for acid reflux that will have you sleeping like a baby (albeit one who can't cuddle as much), this Kӧlbs Bed Wedge Pillow is the bee's knees. I love that it’s firm and adjustable. It’s high enough to take the load off my lower back when I’m laying down. It’s wide enough that you don’t slip off in your sleep. It also works to sit up against. I’m a back sleeper so it’s perfect. If you had to sleep with the upper body elevated, it’s firm enough to support that and comfy too. If someone is a side sleeper or belly, I’m not sure how it would work though.

It is a very sturdy construction. The outside is nice and smooth feeling. It is not the most comfortable wedge to try to sleep on. I do use it due to the Doctors orders, but I find I slip down during the nights and it’s just not that comfortable. It has helped however so I will give credit due in that respect. I started using a pillow on top of it just so that I feel a bit more comfortable. I can see that due to it’s good construction, it is going to last a good long time. It is adjustable, but I have only used it in the one position thus far. I think there is a learning curve to its use.

I would wake up from a dead sleep my back hurt so bad. It would take hours of sitting upright before it would quit hurting. I would have to have a massage to help elevate the pain but who can afford to get those every week? The massage would help for a day but then my back would go right back to hurting.After receiving this pillow I no longer have upper back pain. I woke up without hurting for the first time in what feels like forever. I’m so grateful I’m not hurting any more.

Having poor posture and chronic back pain, I purchased this pillow wedge (12" high and 24" long) to help realign my spine at night. This goal was readily achieved, in large part due to the firmness of the memory foam (not too hard, but supportive). It is important to point out that the distance from the top of your head to your waist is about 30", so the 24" length is too short for someone that is 66" tall... if you want your entire back to be perfectly straight (one of my wishes). I had also hoped to use this in bed while watching TV, but the angle is too shallow (or too steep), depending on the orientation. Note that unless you are accustomed to sleeping on your back, the 12" height will be a problem, but I just slide down and use the base as a pillow, so I can sleep on my side.
