On a recent trip to visit Arizona parks and nature sites, I found this book to be my favorite reference. The easy-to-follow maps, and the short, handy descriptions helped me quickly decide which places I wanted to visit, and to figure out new options when travel plans changed. I would not have thought to even consider several of the parks, but because I learned to trust the recommendations, I found a few unexpected fun stops.

A great book with plenty of entries of sites to discover in Arizona. Informative and a good resource when planning an excursion.

Finding this to be a useful planning guide

I’m enjoying preparing myself for an upcoming trip. I have found some places I will definitely check out. I’m looking forward to checking out the Petrified Forest.

The book looks like it is just what we wanted. We recently moved to Arizona and are looking forward to exploring our new state.

This is one book I have used over and over and over again. We have done multiple short trips from Phoenix using this as a guide , getting many useful ideas and hints. It is a good starting point in planning a trip. I highly recommend.

I’ve got plans to visit a lot of places in Arizona I may not have considered because of this book. I wish there were more books in this series for other cities and states.
