Friction Pad Kit Front and Rear Friction Pads Compatible with Alko AKS 3004 Caravan Stabiliser 691418

Came quickly did what it was suppose to do

After not being able to unhitch my caravan in the middle of a campsite because of a broken hitch pad, I decided to buy 2 of these and keep one as a back up.Its not until you see how flimsy these little bits of plastic are and having a total nightmare holding other holiday makers up trying to park their vans that you think, why the bloody'ell didn't Alko supply spares with every van!............Oh hold on a minute, I'll tell you why, because they sell these bits of plastic to punters like us who will need to buy one (or two) sometime for certain in the future and the cost a bloody fortune. This is the cheapest I could find at the time. Yes I know cheapest isn't always best but these are not exactly cheap anyway.Any how rant over. If you have an Alko hitch of this type do yourself a favour and buy a couple because when they crack in half your caravans not getting removed without a fight!!

Does as they are supposed to do

I arrived at a caravan site and had trouble uncoupling my caravan and when I eventually did I discovered the friction pad had snapped, I ordered this item to be delivered to the site and I fitted it in a matter of minutes

They are cheap yes, they are flimsy yes, the front pad snaps at the slightest fart of a cow in a field 2 miles away. Only lasted 160 miles before it snapped so pretty poor quality but is sufficient to get you out of the brown sticky stuffThey fitted in minutes however don’t make the wear indicator function correctly. So bear that in mind.

do not buy this. The rear fits fine but the front is well out of spec with dimensions. The indicator wasn’t pushing through hole as it was so out of aline. After hitching a couple of times the thing ended up snapping
