This is another children's book from the awesome series called Little People, Big Dreams, which I am always excited to read more of. This book is about Dwayne Johnson, who is a famous actor. I was very interested to read about him, as I like watching him in movies. I was surprised to learn that he was an avid footballer and wrestler before he switched to acting. His wrestling persona was The Rock and he won a lot of championships in this sport. I enjoyed reading about his life from when he was a child, until now.The book itself has great illustrations, and easy to read text, which children and adults will love.I loved the book, which was inspiring, and I recommend it highly.

I've bought 20 of these books so far , my grand daughter and I enjoy them together. She is a big fan. She's 6 and loves it when I get new ones for our sleepovers.So informative, breathes life into past and present icons.

I love this series because it provides very young children with an introduction to the lives of influential people throughout history. This is one of the best I've read so far, specifically because it focuses not only on The Rock's rise to greatness, but also the times that challenged him. Though he is strong in body, he is not afraid to admit when he is feeling sad or upset. Dwayne Johnson is a role model for people of all ages, and this book does a good job showcasing that fact.While these books aren't ideal for a storytime setting, their accessible sentences and brief amounts of text introduce readers to historical figures in a concise way. There is a timeline at the back of the book to synthesize the information in the narrative itself, and readers will no doubt want to read more.Colorful illustrations and a dynamic storyline make Dwayne Johnson's story one to remember.
