Q: Hey, is this blanket eco friendly?

It is a very friendly blanket, cozy and warm, have no idea what eco has to do with, it will keep you warm. That is eco enough.

Q: Does it say organic cotton on the tag?

It says 100% cotton, no mention of organic

Q: Curious as others about the orange (true orange, burnt, coral)?

Subtle, burnt orange -not glaring orange! Very tasteful.

Q: Isn't this the EXACT same material and weave as their beach towel? Just bigger? Why is everyone actually like my question is absurd?

I don’t own the beach towel so I can’t answer about the comparison. However, this item is perfect for my need for a lightweight but cozy throw for our living room. Quality is excellent and consist. I purchased a second one after trying it. You could certainly use this as a beach towel.
