I also know that if I continue eating a dairy product beyond 15 or 20 minutes I need to take another dose. I've wondered why the directions on this product say to take 3 tablets except that it's because some products have only 3,000 FCC lactase per tablet so I'd need to take 3 of them to equal the minimum dose I'd need to be effective.
