So, being how their was like no manual or video on how to use this trap I took it out of the bag at the pier inspected it a little bit noticed white zip ties so I thought they needed to be cut off to make it open figured they were just keeping it closed.Trap is all messed up now the frames don't stay in the right spots when I first looked at it I thought it was ripped in the front because their was a small thin string holding in the middle. And on the sides were two opens which made me think the trap was ripped so I cut the small gray string off and proceeded to clip off like 4 zip ties before I realized that the zip ties weren't supposed to be cut.Pretty much wasted $18 because companies would rather sell you some thing you might damage end up having to buy a new one or the product would have to get sent back. Normally zip ties are meant to be cut off in this case na.

turtles, alligators, big birds etc will easily destroy this. it’s very fine light mesh. it’ll catch the little fish and shrimps crabs etc under the right conditions where big animals and debris and water current speed aren’t an issue

I like the design over the unit overall, however if had a ring at the top to tie a string to that’d be a MAJOR and simple improvement. I suppose you have to the string to the zipper end, but that doesn’t seem like a very strong point especially if your are pulling up crab and lobster. Will go buy some rope/string and go test it out later.

This fish basket is a game changer! My husband and I love going fishing and doing tons of camping and out fun things. We used at a lake in Oregon and put some chicken hearts in the bag as bait. We caught 7 fish the first throw and the 10 on the next toss... Must buy it. Product works very well because the fish can't swim out and just take the bait and run off on you.
