But, I wouldnt use as tablemats. Id hate for the mats to get dirty or stained by food. I plan on using them on an entry table and the other on my end table. The placemats are also easy to clean, as they can be hand-washed and air-dried if I need to clean them. If you like antique and vintage items, then this is highly recommend. These are exquisitely delicate and beautiful for a ladies tea especially! I loved them! My only complaint is that a little SNALL for THE purpose for which they would ordinarily be used.

I absolutely adore these misnamed doilies. They are too small for full sized placemats, but would work for tea plates I believe.. That said, I love them. They are beautiful and would work well with Victorian or Shabby Chic decor.
