13152 Class 3 Trailer Hitch, 2-Inch Receiver, Compatible with Select Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe, Black

Installation on my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0 Turbo was pretty simple, except that there are some plastic pieces that you have to pull down to get at the area where the bolts will go in for the hitch. You will find that once the bolts are in the plastic pieces do not fit properly anymore, and you will have to trim them. No big deal, just take a Dremel tool or something similar and trim the plastic away from the area where the bolts go through the frame. Otherwise you will be banging your head against the wall trying to figure out why they do not fit. The trailer hitch itself works great no complaints. I would highly recommend it. Do yourself a favor and get a plug and play trailer wiring harness that will plug into your existing wiring harness without having to splice any wires. What a difference that makes. I did this installation myself at 56 years old lying on the ground in the dirt. You might want to get a second person to help you out.

Awesome hitch for my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Looks perfect and very easy to install. Like all other postings, just lower the spare tire a little bit (not all the way down) and install. Used it to tow my 6X10 utility trailer and pulls it like a charm. I used to be a Reese fan, but not Curt is my favorite. Instructions were awesome and in color. Others are cheap copies thrown in there. Curt took there time in this product and made it easy for the installer.

Always loved Curt receivers, they have always been easy to install, with the exception of this one. This one was a little time consuming because I had to cut out part of the bumper guard on each side and remove the exhaust hangers in order to install two of the bolts. The bumper guards are just two long pins that allow you easily install the bumper and you only need to cut about 1 inch off the tip of each one. I used a Dremel because space is somewhat confined. You will also need to lower the spare and remove it so you can access the bolts to tighten the receiver onto the frame. Don't let this discourage you though. Install with all these additional steps only took me about 1 hour to install. Instructions tell you how to remove the exhaust hangers and they are easy to put back in. You will need a 17mm socket and a 3/4" socket for the bolts. I will upload a video with tips and post the link here soon

Easy to install because I’m awesome at lots of things. If your 6 years old or younger, you may need some help - otherwise it’s a 1 man/person job. Great quality, and allows me to attach items to my car. I look less like a tool now, and more like I listen to tool. As such, I give this a “ducks nuts” rating and recommend towing things like small dead animals, logs and bbq’s with this, as long as you have the ball for it… ;) I don’t give “ducks nuts” ratings out very much so - Curt, the underpaid welder, automatic weld machine and some guy who does Quality checks should be proud.
