I like the shovel-handle style grip, but the cup doesn't really provide all that much more suction than the old half-ball style plungers that have been around forever. The long accordion-style ball types work TONS better. I liked the idea of the floor cup to stand it in & minimize drips and water on the floor (I've always used cheap dog-bowls from the dollar store for that), but this one fits too snug. Water collects in that bowl, and doesn't dry away so it stays stagnant and sometimes smelly, in the floor bowl. I have to slant the plunger to the side to let the water dry, and it doesn't stay ballanced - I have to pick it up from the floor nearly every day. Needs to be re-engineered by someone who actually uses one.

I understand what people are saying when they say the bottom doesn't come back out automatically, this is true... but it doesn't effect how well it works. I'm super happy that I bought this plunger. I've been able to get rid of all clogs with 1.... 2 at the most plunges. It has a great seal when you put in the toilet, and when you press down, if for whatever reason it doesn't pop back out you just use the inside of the toilet edge to pop it back out. Its a great plunger.... i have no idea why so many people are complaining. And trust me, if I had any issue with it... I would be the first to tell you!!

It works ok on minor clogs, but not great. When you push down on it, it seems like the rubber is too stiff and doesn’t stretch enough because it stays compressed for several seconds then pops back into place, preventing you from doing the usual “push down-pop up-push down-pop up” plunging motion. It’s more like “push down-..... waiting ..... pop up-push down-..... waiting ..... pop up-push down-..... waiting .....” You get the idea. Half the time I have to go get the plunger from my husband’s bathroom to get the job done after trying with this one for 10 minutes! Someone posted a video here of exactly the same problem, so I know it’s not just mine.

The rubber is too cheap to create a suction. It just compresses and then doesn’t bend back to actually pump or plunge anything. Useless purchase. Nice that it comes with a stand tho.

Price, excellent, compared to what you'd spend at Mills Fleet Farm, Home Depot, or any other big box store, really good deal, theirs typically are a straight handle. This is very easy to grab, and use. Bonus is it comes with it's own holder tray. Need a plunger? Just want a new one? Buy this, you won't regret it. Especially good if you have arthritis or mobility issues. Easy grip, easy use.

I like that it has a handle & a base. It is noticeable if you keep it in the open as it seems a little big.

i have one of those toilets mandated by congress before they had the technology in place to do it right so that it has to be flushed a dozen times to get it to work, it saves a lot of water in theory . it plugs easily and i wish i had been able to buy this years ago . now if i can just replace the toilet i will be all set.
