Dead in year
Works great for a bit, but battery completely dies within a year and can't be replaced. Worse, when battery lacks a charge, phone shuts down and ends up in an endless reboot cycle; ie. dead battery = dead phone even when plugged into a charger.Make the same phone, same dimensions, but replaceable battery and I'd buy it again. No replaceable battery means it's not worth buying at all.

Good Phone for What it is
I have had 3 Ulefone Armor X6 Pros over the past year (I lose or break them relatively often), and would definitely recommend. It can't run a lot of apps without crashing, but that's expected with $127 smartphone. It can't run apps like pokemon go or tiktok, but does snapchat, youtube, instagram, small weather and engineering apps fine. The internet works well, and calls/texts go through well.My only 2 complaints are that no matter how new the phone is or how many apps have been on it, music playing from the "files" app crashes every 5-15 songs if other apps are open at the same time. I haven't been able to find a work around to this yet. The design of the charger (the block that the usb cord plugs into, not the cord) was changed between the first and second armour x6 pro I had, and its pretty flimsy now. It's not a dealbreaker for me since I've had so many phones, but it is annoying.

Last time i buy one
This is my second one inside a year. I loved it at first, but then the first one webt totally dead. I got a second one and it had issues from the start. It kept shutting down, kicking me off websites and flashing screen. I decided to go with a different brand and am happy with them.

Excellent budget rugged waterproof phone with Android 12
I formerly owned a Ulefone Armor X7 Pro which I wasn't crazy about due to the case design. It was textured with an all-around tire pattern that really felt like a rubber brick. Not so with this Armor X6 Pro model - it has very smooth areas on the back and only a little textured area near the camera and speaker and the sides so it actually feels like a normal phone in your hand. It even feels slimmer due to the smooth areas even though its probably not. It has angular bumpers on the corners, but thats true of most rugged phones designed to cushion impact from fall.At 4GB RAM and Quad core, the phone is responsive enough and moving from Android 10 to Android 12 I found everything I needed to, like there is a spot in Settings > Navigation bar to turn the back/home/multitask soft buttons back on (sorry, I don't believe in gestures). I also figured out that if you swipe-up from the dots that tell you which home screen you're on, that gives you the App Drawer - theres no App Drawer icon, so this is the only way. For battery life I'm pretty much getting a days worth but I insist on having my brightness set to 100% because I drive with it and have to see maps clearly both in bright sunlight and dark of night. One thing to note- this Armor X6 and the X7 are 16:9 aspect ratio - this is a MUST HAVE for me. I hate the 18:9, 19:9 etc. phones with screens that are too skinny and narrow. I could never get used to them having had to use work phones like that. Call me old fashioned but I grew up on a squarish-screen and I will never want to stare at anything otherwise. I wish they would make larger phones with the 16:9 aspect ratio but they really don't any more. One thing thats different from the Armor X7 model is that theres no fingerprint sensor. Instead they opted for a facial recognition unlock that just uses the selfie camera but I don't believe in those. Someone holds up an 8x10" glossy of your face and they're in your phone. So its back to pattern lock for me but I really don't mind. The programmable custom key on the left side is excellent - you really get 3 different button presses to assign to different apps (single press, double press, long press). Greatest thing ever.In summary, Ulefone has built an excellent budget phone. And the extra security of rugged and waterproof is one less thing to worry about in this crazy world.
