Lid shuts and you will not see any of the bag crunched up at the top. Would highly recommend for this can.

these bags fit perfectly

These trash bags are well made, strong and easy to use. Simple Human makes many sizes that are custom to the particular size and shape of their cans. These definitely hold up to regular heavy kitchen/household use. I would not use them for construction trash as they are not made for that. It's a great product and they are consistent with quality - I have seen them hold up over the long time I have purchased SimpleHuman products. They are a bit more expensive than cheaper bags, but they are worth it as you will never have a broken leaky bag.

These are great! Honestly, I tried to be frugal and buy a trash bags else where. I figured I’d get more for less. I’m not sure I saved much money, because most times I’d double the bags due to rips and tears. That was a headache. The Simplehuman bags are so nice. They actually are hassle free and the two major pluses are that they are dry tough and don’t rip. And, they hold more trash than any other brand. Just when you think it’s full, you take the bag out, there’s still room for more trash. They are the perfect match for Simplehuman trash cans.

My students conducted a science experiment to see which brand of trash bag would hold the most weight. Simplehuman came out on top. It beat out other US name brand competitors by a long shot. In fact, after they tested, the bag still looked brand new- no stretching or tearing. The downside is they are expensive, however, you’re getting excellent quality.

Didn’t want to buy the more expensive simple human trash bags at first, but after trying to use regular trash bags in the simplehuman trashcan and them constantly ripping because the trashcan has an extra wide top I finally gave in and got these. They really do make a difference! I feel like the trashcan holds more now and it’s much easier to get the trash bags in and out of the trash can.

They fit my simplehuman trash can perfectly, and they're really strong. This is the size for the really huge can, so it holds a ton of trash before it needs to be emptied. These bags are the right size so you get maximum capacity for garbage, and strong enough to hold onto it when you pull them out. No stretching, etc. Occasionally the drawstrings will break the plastic and come out of the top, which is pretty inconvenient, but I would say only 10 bags have done that in the course of about 5 boxes. I know a lot of people say to just use regular Glad bags in a giant size, but I found that they're not only too small, the stretchiness of the plastic is bad news for the heavy loads that fit into a can this size. And because they're too small, you have to use more bags, which I figure ends up costing almost as much as a box of these, anyway.

I got this bouts lasted me over a year. I bought this march 24, 2024, it is now February 21, 2025. I know what you’re thinking, that’s not an entire year. But I still have two packages of trash bags left which will easily make it a few more months. Now keep in mind, there’s only me (28F) and my son (7M). I also keep cheap trash bags on hands for stupid things like donating clothes or cleaning out the car. They also don’t rip, there’s no issues with it fitting. For the longest time I put off buying this trash can because the price of the bags, but I can’t complain when I buy in bulk.

Love these can liners for my Simplehuman product; the fit is snug and easy to remove with the built in ties. The liners are strong and thick plastic and have been using these for the past year and have never experienced a breakage. Delivered within two days.
