Great liittle tester that fits in my tool bag

Great piece of equipment,bought this after smelling gas in the house, detected a leak and gasman came out and fixed the problem.

I bought it after I read positive reviews on Amazon in the hope that this might be a better and cheaper solution for me to employ a Corgi registered gas engineer to check my newly installed kitchen gas pipes. First time when I used this product, it detected a gas leak near my gas hub connector so I turned off all my gas supply and called a gas engineer. He came with his professional gas detector, found there wasn't any gas leak at all. He spent fair amount of time using his detector checked everywhere found absolutely nothing. I can't see how this detector could give me assurance and can rely on its reading in future so have to return it back to Amazon.

Installed a new gas stove and used the soap test. Thought I’d double check everything with this tool and it didn’t detect any leaks. Thought I’d use it to check my gas finance and hot water tank. It found a very small leak at the flex hose fitting. Verified it with the soap test. Tightened the fitting and double checked it with soap and this tool. All was good. Worked great. Never would have known there was ever a leak at the hot water tank without this tool. Easy to use (just watched a few videos on it first). I will make this part of my house routine whenever I change my fire alarm batteries I’ll use this tool to check my appliances.

Ich habe mir diesen Gasmelder gekauft, um mein Zuhause sicherer zu machen, und ich bin mehr als zufrieden. Das Gerät reagiert sehr sensibel und gibt ein lautes, deutlich hörbares Alarmsignal ab, wenn es Gas erkennt. Ich habe es getestet, und es funktioniert einwandfrei. Es gibt mir ein gutes Gefühl, besonders in der Küche oder im Heizungsraum, wo es immer ein Risiko gibt. Insgesamt ein zuverlässiges Gerät, das man wirklich empfehlen kann.

Can't say i used it much tbh. But it did find a refrigerant leak on a car AC.
