Great tool and kit , it has replaced many of my worn out snaps on my Rain canvas on my boat Excellent choice

Product is as described and of good quality. I'm sure there are heavier duty tools for more production and/or heavier materials, but this will work fine for my light duty project and future repairs.

This kit worked awesome. I replaced all the snaps on my boat cushions in about 10 minutes. They seem to be real stainless based on the fact that they weren't magnetic, but I guess only time will tell on that.

The tool worked great until the selected iron fell off into the canal. I was able to magnet it out and ended up reinstalling it with hot melt glue. But this is not ideal since you need to switch irons depending on the snap being installed. The magnet that holds the irons in needs to be stronger.

Good grief why didn’t I think of this? When installing a new convertible top on a car number years ago, I struggle with the hammer and pounding peg thing they sent with my convertible top. The next car I bought that needed a convertible top, I went to one of those hobby and craft stores, and bought a tool for installing snaps. It worked for about six snaps and then the cheap pot metal bent, and it was worthless. So I had to use the pounding peg thingy once more to finish the snaps on that one. I’ve got another car that needs a convertible top, and while I was on Amazon looking for anything that might be better to installthe snaps with, I found this! Holy moly, does this work great! It comes with a good variety of snaps with it as well, and I used a few of them on other things, such as a boat cover, a tonneau cover, as well as a few on an old tarp for practice! So quick so easy. I regret not finding this eight years ago. Absolutely awesome! Highly recommended, and well worth the investment if you’re going to do even just one convertible top! Your mental frustration system will thank you!

Works great the included fasteners are a bit light in gauge but this tool will handle heavier ones if you can find them.

Did the job well. Easy to use and seems to be well constructed for longevity.
