It's very sensitive to movement, so much so that even just lifting a tad to look at the buttons in the back it shuts off the heat. So, it's very safe, but also a bit inconvenient for this reason.One of the main inconveniences is that the buttons that control the heat aren't intuitive, at all. Read the instructions to know which ones do what. The labels on the buttons themselves aren't clear.The little "fire" effect is cute. It also puts out a decent amount of heat for its size. It's worth the money ($30), but it really would be a better value closer to $20 in my opinion.One final thing, it wasn't clear to me how to shut it OFF (other than lifting it up of course as I wrote before). What happens is, if you lift it up or push the button to turn it off, it still runs (if plugged in) for 60 more seconds without heat (just the fan), ostensibly to cool off some components (I guess) before fully powering down. But this was initially confusing to me (before reading the manual again) because I didn't understand why when I even lifted it up it still "ran" (much less pressed the power off button). Just be aware of that; it'll shut off completely after a minute. (of course, it shuts off immediately if you unplug it, but I guess it's best to let the fan run for the minute I don't know).Worth it, for the little fire effect if that's what you want in addition to a space heater. (I did that's why I bought it). If you don't care about a little fake fire effect, then get another cheaper one.

this is such a cute little heater. It is great to warm up just one room if you do not want to turn on the heater in the whole house. It saves energy and it looks nice as well. it is actually calming to look at it when on

The visual charcoal and flame effect is very nice and the product was very nicely packaged. I also like the size and light weight of the product. It is easy to carry from room to room. This small heater puts out a nice amount of heat for its size.

Love this heater. I was afraid it wouldn’t work well but it heats up the whole house!

I read and reread and lost directions. I have no idea how to shut this thing off. I was going to order a 2nd but the price has gone up on the last 48 hours. At the price that I paid a second would be fine IF I could figure out how to easily turn off. The directions are tiny (maybe 4x4) and I can’t find them. I had to unplug, then plug and start pressing every button to get mine to work. Darling heater. Wish that light worked with out heater but that’s ok. No idea where directions are to figure out how to shut off. There are only 4-5 (difficult or impossible to read) buttons so it should be easy. I even watch a couple videos. Still don’t know how it finally went off.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this heater for work and the fireplace was super cute and impressive it ran throughout my entire 12-hour shift without any problems. The heat output was amazing for it to be so little and cute! we were surprised and the heat was extremely hot! I want to purchase more as gifts.
