Crystal Ball Reading for Beginners: Easy Divination & Interpretation (Llewellyn's For Beginners, 30)

This is an unbelievably beautiful object. This could be used for ornamental uses (keep out of the sunlight lest it start a fire from the Suns rays), if not for scrying. It is heavier than you would expect, just from looking at it. Once you properly cleanse and energize it, you can feel its power. When I bought it, I did not really realize how large it would be. It is both large and attractive. I wish I could have bought it years ago (although I looked years ago I had not found any then), I am extremely pleased with this crystal ball, and you will be too, when you order yours. The company is prompt and carefully packages the ball to protect it during shipping. I will order from this company again- they not only sell quality goods, they prepare and ship their goods in a quality manner that you rarely see these days....

There is some decent information on how to get started with crystal ball scrying, but I don't think the information is good ENOUGH. In fact, in Raymond Buckland's "The Complete Guide to Witchcraft", he has only 1 chapter in which crystal ball scrying is talked about and in that 1 chapter I think he taught me more about crystal ball divination than this author did in a whole book.I was also put off by how she insisted that you can ONLY scry with "flawed" crystal balls. I absolutely don't agree with that. My ball, for example, is reconstituted quartz and I think I have pretty decent results with it, but if you asked this author, she'd have said my ball was practically worthless for this practice. I thought her insistence on using only balls with flaws in them, which are substantially more expensive than reconstituted crystal balls are, but are still made of the same substance, came off as very biased. She's lucky she can afford the kind of ball that was shaped from a raw crystal, regardless of its size, but not all of us are that fortunate, so I don't really care for her attitude on that.While some of the information is good, I really don't recommend this book. There are better books for beginning crystal ball divination. This one just doesn't hold up.

I really enjoyed this book very much and learned a lot from it. There's a lot of information on the different kinds of crystals that can be used for scrying.She says that rock crystal is best to use, then lab grown comes next. However, she does not mention reconstructed crystal which is real crystal that is crushed and then formed into crystal balls which are good for scrying also. She states that glass balls aren't good for scrying but I don't agree with this. I have read in other books that glass balls can be used.Otherwise, this book is very good with a lot excellent information.

Easy beginner's guide. My daughter loved it

Its obvious the author knows her subject. As someone who has always been drawn to spheres or all kinds, I found the book an interesting read. I gave it only four stars because, while she says she is not knocking other forms of divination, she does. She has an understandable bias for scrying. The book contains a few backhanded knocks to other divination forms which I found annoying. Having said that, I am glad I read it.It was highly informative. She obviously knows her stuff.

This was very easy reading and informative. I enjoyed all the personal references, which gave the information a less textbook feeling. It gave me the insight I was hoping for seeking positive intuitive and communication that exists all around us, and fully supports that all have the ability.

I mean seriously .. do you really think this is going to work? Perfect for teenage girls.

Well, I started skimming the pages, and now I am reading the book in earnest. It gives honest, detailed information about reading crystal balls. It made me want to work with my new crystal ball!

Book arrived very prompt it’s like new 😊.looks like it will give me some insight how to use my crystal ball being a novice . Wish I’d had seen the lottery results tonight it was a triple roll over lol 😂 . Bought to help focus mind and learn the mysteries it may hold .

The book was very interesting and helpful. I thought the book could have been more about techniques and not stories. I did like the book though, I thought it was very good.

Its OK but so far it's all about the author of the book I don't no if its going to be helpful yet because iv only started it find it annoying it being all about the author so far and not much help on how to read a crystal ball

Written in a great style like a friend talking you through need to find a quiet place to sit & concentrate
