Is a gift but looks and smells very good

If you know someone who likes scented candles then you are going to be hard pushed to find something original for them without looking for a nicely decorated container or a crazy smell. This would certainly fit the bill, it has a lovely smooth floral and citrus aroma with a hint of spice and since it is soy based it will not burn with any chemical smell. The main selling point why this is different is that it contains polished stones and a big chunk of Himalayan salt crystal that will certainly appeal to people to people who are into that and would be likely to keep the stones afterward for their associated "powers" or just for ornamental purposes. I think the price is high but the product itself does not deserve anything less than 5 stars for its presentation and originality. It's probably going to last a week if you use it for 4 hours a day so it's a hefty amount of money for that but as a gift for the right person I believe it would be highly appreciated, I do not think it's better value than the small sized ones from the same brand weight for weight but I would be more likely to get these bigger ones as a gift.

My first reaction when I saw the listing for this 'Oh yawn ... another scented candle.' It isn't, however, just another scented candle ... this one different in several ways.The first is that the packaging is really beautiful ... well-designed and very attractive.The second is that the scent is GORGEOUS ... citrussy, slightly floral, clean and natural - there is none of that distinctive 'perfumed candle' smell to it.The third is, of course, the minerals/crystals included in the candle wax - something I have never seen before. While I'm not remotely convinced by the crystal healing thing, it's still a lovely and intriguing touch, and as an enthusiastic amateur geologist, I'm curious to find out what exactly in IN the candle.Put all of those together, and you have a really impressive package which I would be absolutely delighted to receive as a present.Is it worth £30? Yes, I think so - for all the reasons given. It's a cut well above your average scented candle.Recommended.

I ordered the Himalayan Sea salt candle, which comes in a deep peachy coloured glass jar.The candle is a light colour and is mixed with scents of several essential oils, including vanilla, tonka bean, vetiver bean, cardamon, amber, sichuan pepper, agarwood, Brazilian rosewood, and sandalwood. Overall the blend produces a mild, sweet, earthy aroma, which is not overpowering, but calming and quite relaxing.The candle has the addition of a sea salt crystal, along with some other smaller black and red agate crystals.The candle has approximately 10 hours burn time and is a bit smaller than I expected for the price. At time of review, it is just under £18, so it is very expensive, when compared to other similar products of the same size. So it isn't the best value for money.

The absolute best thing about this candle is its size and it’s smell. The candle itself comes in a mint, green glass jar, the wax itself is white, and melted into the wax are green crystals.The strong fruity smell is really obvious as soon as the candle leaves the box and it lingers too which is nice. Think fruit punch smell.You have to trim the wick before burning. It is really long so it’s better to do this for safety. The candle melts well around the stones that are embedded in the wax.Also included in the box is also a little leaflet telling you about the stones and crystals inside it. This would make a great Christmas gift, recommend.

The candle came in beautifully presented box with see through lid. It could makes nice gift to someone special who uses candles regularly.When opened the box I could smell the fruity aroma even before I lit the wick. The wick was to long so I cut a bit of it. Candle lit on nicely without flickering. I was surprided how smoothly it burns. The flame was still, like didn't move at all. This candle doesn't create the smoke which is very important for health reason.The crystals inside are amazing, never seen a candle with crystals before.I can recommend this candle, it's luxurious but a bit expensive for me.

First off let me get the limited positives out of the way when it comes to this Scilla Rose Store candle. It comes really nicely presented, and it looks quirky with a little bit of salt rock and gemstones on top. Also on taking it out of the box, you get a sweet citrusy smell. It comes with instructions, and you will need to trim the very long wick down a bit (not sure why they haven't done this in the factory).Now the negatives, the fragrance you get when you smell the unlit candle, unfortunately, doesn't fill the room when lit. You barely notice any scent at all. Then there is all the pseudoscience around crystal healing, which isn't based on any true science. Finally, the price, at the time of review in November 2022, is £29.95, which is far too expensive. I've reviewed lots of scented candles on Amazon that are much better quality, and I would recommend checking out other brands before committing to this one.

This has quite a pleasant scent. It is quite nicely presented. The only real concern is value for money.
