I have now found Lipsense to be drying (initially there is a burning sensation which I attribute to the alcohol content--definitely a drying factor). Unfortunately, LipSense will flake and peel if left on the lips for a very long time--8hours or so. Try to use the gloss frequently to prevent this from happening. To remove: Purchase a bar of Neutrogena glycerin soap, apply to a washcloth and lightly scrub the lips. The expensive remover is not necessary. On the plus side: the Roseberry color is very nice; subtle and feminine.ORIGINAL REVIEW: So glad I tried this product. I had been contemplating ordering this for the longest time and was reluctant due to past disappointing experiences with other brands of liquid lipstick. Lipsence truly lasts a full day without need to reapply. You might like to reapply the liquid gloss at some point late in the day. It's comfortable to wear and looks nice on the lips; not drying and cracking like drugstore liquid lipsticks. It does not transfer so it will not leave a mark on a napkin, coffee cup or wine glass. Will buy again! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lasts the same as Maybelline SuperStay24, but a good product *by A***E on February 11, 2018* I was buying this product soley based on the picture online...and it was a perfect match. That NEVER happens to me. I have very full (albeit small) lips. I've never had a problem with lipsticks running, so I'm not one to know how it works for those that have this problem. If you have dry, flakey lips I do not recommend. This product, just like other longwear lip is very drying. It WILL last all day if used as directed. Exfoliate your lips first-and follow the provided instructions. My favorite plumping lip gloss actually works as well as the LipSense gloss, but with the added benefit of lip plumping, so I don't always add their gloss. All that being said, I WOULD NOT purchase LipSense again. I spent two weeks comparing LipSense to Maybelline's SuperStay 24. Thought initially they do feel different upon application, I found they feel and wear the same through out the day. I found a comparable color in the Maybelline brand, and painted my lips straight down the middle-one side Maybelline-the other LipSense. Every day for two weeks. Each day I'd actually switch which side of my mouth I wore the products, in case the wear on my lips would be different. Absolutely no difference between wear or look at the end of the day between the two-for 14 full days. The Maybelline product is only around $8 full price. If I wasn't on a budget and wanted to support a friend that sells them, sure...I'd buy LipSense again, but that is not the case. No, I am in no way affiliated with Maybelline. Just a gal on a budget that wants to look pretty. Just treat the Maybeline as if it is LipSense in the fact that you should do 3 very thin coats as opposed to one as Maybelline directs...and on exfoliated lips. It will work the exact same. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lipsense is Amazing! *by N***C on May 19, 2017* It takes some getting used to, but I love it. I have heard people say that a tube lasts 6 months, but that was not the case for me. It lasted about three months exclusively using one color. I like that I don't have to constantly reapply all day. When you feel your lips begin to dry during the day reach for the gloss.
