Where the hell has this light been my whole career. Man whether locating faults, tracing fibers, unscrewing company facility records, this thing is a godsend. No more trying to darken the FSAI to find my light. There are no doubts in a trqy if a splice is bad or not. Hell even in a CO i just shut the lights of and can find my f1 way to quickly. After looking and finding this i realized my company provided crap was only 10km. Will never leqve home withouth this. Been in use daily for 6 months now and no issue. The top dpes unscrew and though my light was gping bad, but once i tightened the adapter back down it worked like new. Look at angles for this light, ypu will see a dark spot fpr the rest of the day if you look directly into a eye in a serving terminal.

Red light is very powerful.

I measured the actual laser output with proper equipment, and the result confirmed my suspicion: this unit is not 50mW as advertised. It is only about 10mW, meaning they are selling underpowered units and falsely advertising their specifications. Stay away.

Needed to shoot some fiber to Identify an issue. This light shot a nice beam from one point to the next. Would recommend this little handy laser to anyone that needs an inexpensive laser, that works.

As the lower watt ones in our industry we can't live without these. I have 6 now and getting more as I need. I carry different patch cords to help with the gender change of connector. Dont want to down grade the less watt but go big and be done. I don't have the pic but it found the break in the water of a 4" 90 in the building. Sometimes just turn off the overhead lights, let your eyes adjust and look for the blinking light.

I ordered it a while ago, it is excellent, but then I bought 5 more, 3 began to dimly shine in the next 7 days. quality is fickle

Works great. Longest I have tried is about 10 miles but it was so bright I could see it flashing 25 ft up in the air at duskThis laser will mess with a fusion splicer so you have to remove to splice both single or mass fusion.

We had to check the fiber from one building to another. The building was over 1 mile away and the light was visible through the dust cap. I am waiting to see how far it will go.
