Great great great wool socks. Keep your feet dry and at a nice temp. Never too hot nor too cold it seems. No idea how long they'll last but so far so good.

Very comfortable. Right amount of cushioning around my ankles for my boots. They cost a little bit more, but are worth it. Can be worn a couple / few times before I need to wash them due to the odor controlling nature of wool socks. Highly recommend.

These Smartwool socks have to be the most comfortable socks I've every worn.I purchased some Smartwool socks and some Darn Tough socks to see which I preferred. Both are fantastic. On the days I wear the Smartwool socks, I seem to have more energy and delay removing them until bedtime. They feel like a nice gently firm warm hug.The Darn Tough socks are great too, and feel almost the same as the Smartwool socks most of the day. But come evening time, my feet start barking for a break from the Darn Tough socks; I end up calling it a day and not getting much done in the evening.Form me, going forward - it's Smartwool all the way. No need to look any further.

My brother gifted me a pair of these more than 20 years ago. They rip! I recently got myself another set just for when the original pair is in the wash and they still rip! My only complaint is that I wish they had more fun colors. But, still, 6 out of 5 stars!

Bei mir hatte jede Socke eine deutlich sichtbare unterschiedliche Größe. Leider steht die Größe nicht direkt drauf wie bei den Mountaineer Socken von der gleichen Marke z.B. dann wäre es eindeutig.So kann es auch einfach schlecht produziert sein.Auch ist die Qualität nicht so hoch wie die der Mountaineers, einige Nahten sind nicht ganz sauber zwischendrin.

Size 10B, bought size Large, The Unisex Hike 75% wool sock is so thick and cozy. Bought these for an everyday warm sock in my winter boots.Cheaper wool socks are often too tight fighting and the band is uncomfortable by end of day, even on my skinny ankles. Pulled out an old pair of Smartwool from ages back, and they were so much more comfortable that I thought I’d treat myself to another pair or two. It's like walking on clouds. .

Have always bought Smartwool socks. I have found them hard wearing, warm and comfortable. After receiving the last batch, I won't be buying any more and recommend you think long and hard before you do. I bought 4 pairs of 'Hunt OTC'. Two from Amazon and two from Smartwool directly. Costing around £120 in total. All four pairs have masses of stitching faults. Really terrible finish. Especially on the feet and where the sock meets the elastic hem. See attached photos.These were intended as presents but I cant give them as gifts in this state. I will just wear them myself, since they look like they are all 'seconds' and I don't want to appear a cheapskate to the intended recipients!I'm beyond annoyed but can't be bothered with returning them since they came from Italy. The pair I have worn for 4 days have already pilled up quite a lot and they look tatty because of all the loose stitching. I'm very concerned about just how long these are going to last after a few wears and washes.I love my wool socks and have trusted Smartwool for years. I feel betrayed and ripped off. These socks are not cheap. I will have to source from another supplier in future.
