My adult son had a complete fracture of his humerus & was sent home from the ER with their stand sling. He wore that for the week before surgery then thankfully, I found this on Amazon. Heis almost 6 feet tall & 250 pounds & had a lot of swelling. He said it was so much better immediately. It fits very well and has some stretch. Other reviews noted a scratchy area on the strap, but he uses a soft bandana underneath anyway & said to give it all 5 stars. He uses the hospital sling in the shower. I also got him a rotator cuff pillow on Amazon. It just came yesterday so we will see. I hope this helps, I’m a nurse so I have high standards & use reviews too. Bless anyone with these injuries/surgeries.

Item was never used. It’s too large. They will not take a return. I’ve purchased similar items from other sellers and had no problem with returns. I had no idea how hard it would be to find the right fit for a sling!

This is the third sling I have ordered for my husband. Finally one that fits! He is a big guy and had surgery on his wrist and forearm. The splint is 17 inches around and would not fit into any sling we tried. When searching for a splint with a 17 inch circumference, a sling with a 17 in length would show up, so each one we ordered was taking a chance. It is very thick and seems it will be hot when used outside, but that’s not a big drawback at this point.

The length is good for a 6foot 2-inch man, but fabric becomes too loose quickly

I had shoulder surgery and was given a sling from the hospital to use, The first thing I did when I got home was take pain medication. The second thing I did was order this ULTIMATE ARM SLING on Amazon. Originally I wasn't sure which one to pick up. But after a simple Google Search, I was able to get the Proper Size. I'm 6' 2" 260 pounds. I picked up the Pro 3X-Large and it fit great. If you're on this page, you're considering the same size. The company advertises the the Pro 3X-Large is for anyone between 6' and 6'7, and a weight of 220 to 300 pounds. I can tell you that you should determine your size based on height and not necessarily weight. Other than that, it's a great item to own. It fits well around the shoulder and most importantly, the strap doesnt dig into your neck area. If you have one of those white, nylon slings from the hospital which are better suited as a food strainer, throw that junk out and pick this up.
