Insightful, inspiring and thought provoking
I thought this was a brilliant book. It made be stop, think and evaluate my own conversations with people. At times an exercise in mindfulness- thank you Nihal! It is insightful, interesting and inspiring! Highly recommend.

Captivating read
Nihal writes like he speaks. His words are so carefully chosen, they engage you and you feel like you have an action plan for how to be a better person when you've completed the book. Couldn't rush it much as I wanted to consume every word, I wanted to absorb the examples and try to apply them to situations I find myself in. This is such an important book right now, and I find that I need to heed many of these tips and process many of the questions raised. Naturally you don't agree with everything but you understand the logic and the argument is of course well made. Thoroughly enjoyable, thought provoking and like a bonus edition of his radio show. Have long thought Nihal was the best interviewer around, reeling me into listening to debates on subject areas I wouldn't normally think about with people I've not previously heard of, and this has just reaffirmed that belief. Thank you.

Insightful and Practical
This book offers an insightful, yet not judgemental, analysis of the state of conversation today and presents a range of practical conversational tools, all grounded in real experience. The best thing about this book is that Nihal practices what he preaches—he models how to have better conversations by interviewing people who have powerful stories to share. As you read you witness how to listen well—Nihal shows genuine interest in those he's interviewing and allows these conversations to inform and refine his own opinions. Relevant to everyone—those in high-powered leadership positions, those who want to have better conversations at home and everyone in between. I would highly recommend it.

May be too late for me as my wife has left me 😂😢
Great book. Heard Nihal talking on Adam Buxton's podcast and just had to buy this book (as well as that of Dr Buckles) and wasn't disappointed. Just need my estranged wife to talk to me before I can put what I've learned from this book into practice 🤞
