Small and fun project
We found instructions challenging but not impossible to follow. It was a fun quest and the clock worked right away once assembled.

Does not keep accurate time
Foolishly I did not read the other reviews before ordering. I built the kit and it works except that as others have reported it runs slow. In clock mode it counts up to 60 seconds over a time period of about 2:15, which suggests it probably needs a 27MHz crysral rather than the 12MHz one supplied. I might try fitting one to see if it then runs properly.

Good item and value
Good item but used a lot of power so needs a usb plug rather than batteries but was good soldering practiceAnd value for money

A good little starter kit
This is not difficult to build. That said the instructions are complete rubbish and you will have to go on the internet to find images of where everything goes. If you have the patience to do that the itβs quite fun

Clock speed
Easy to put together but the clock speed is not working properly checked all components and changed the crystal the only thing it could be is the main chip

Set up?????
Regardless of programming, the "seconds" digit would only advance after 2 or three seconds, Minutes well after over two minutes.Setting up instructions are non-existent?POOR but enjoyed the build.Switches need identing?
